  • @Randyortonwwe720 - Cool, hope it is useful!

  • @EnhancedDimensions btw when i downloaded AE It Said I need a 64 bit What does that mean?

  • @Randyortonwwe720 - You need a 64 bit version of windows.

  • @EnhancedDimensions How will I get that?

  • hate those fucin adds

  • 2,701 viewr :)

  • Hey do you think you can make ME an intro? :)

  • hey - i was jst wondering if there was a way of doing this with magenta / green glasses, what would u need to have on the set channels for this???

(sorry im new to this - im used 2 making polarized 3d in after effects bt i wanted 2 send this 2 some family, bt they didn't have the right glasses :(

  • @bloggy9000 - It will be do-able - experiment with the channel settings and see if you keep green on one and red&Blue on the other how it looks - you might need to muck around with levels though. What about exporting side by side and depoyling on YouTube using the yt3d tags then your family could choose the glasses they have from the 3d menu options!

  • @EnhancedDimensions Thx for your reply - i will definatley try that! Also i found that (although it recolours the video alot) you can put on magenta / green glasses backwards and it comes out in 3d when watching red / cyan 3d videos!

  • you sound like a pilot :)

  • @wallflymedia - LOL, I doubt you'd want me flying a plane!

  • you sound like a pilot :)

  • I love this. Thanks!

  • hey how to position de camera,,man im stuck in 8.29..pls help me

  • @194811411 - If you select the camera either in the main composition window or in the timeline then use the arrow keys to nudge it left or right.

  • i didint like at all u did way to many key combinations.....i got lost right at the begining when you started doing all fuckin shift keys and shit.

  • where can i see the 2D to 3D video tutorial on Adobe After Effects?

  • @dallasgrful - All our tutorials are available on our website at enhanced-dimensions com. There is a 3d tuts page there.

  • can you do this with video footage?

  • @takeonetheshow - I do have some tiutorials on comverting 2d to 3d, but it is quite a lot of effort and seldom as good as actually filming in 3d in the first place. Do cehck out my tutorials on conversion though and see what you think.

  • @takeonetheshow no, to do that, you have to physically film your video with 2 cameras

  • how do you get effects that say your name in them at the beginning of your video

  • @hockeyislyfee - It's just a few more layers in 3d space - and the arrow is angled to build towards the screen. If I get time I'll try and make a more detailed tutorial.

  • 9:33 Awesome effect!! like the text hits you!!!

  • @leonidhaimov - Thanks! Have you checked out my 3d videos that were made using this technique? FourPlay 3D and Gloria (The Death of Me) are my personal favourites.

  • @EnhancedDimensions Yeah they were awesome!

  • @leonidhaimov - Thanks man!

  • @EnhancedDimensions By the way I forgot to tell you that I subscribed...

You should make more 3d videos! Good luck :D

  • If i hav ea 4.30 min video i just need to this and that´s it?

  • @eljaimillo - No this isn't for converting 2d videos to 3d, this is for creating a 3d animation from scratch in After Effects.

  • can this be done wmm

  • @tehpoposhow i have xp and i hate win 7

  • can you make 3d cross-eyed?

  • @masuk50 - if you watch part 2 you'll see the making of the cross eye yt3d version.

  • thnx for video. Save

  • @mediALStudio - I think you need to follow throught to part two where the stereo 3d effect is created. I would have posted this as one longer video but YouTube won't allow a 20 minute video.

  • who's doing the tutorial?

  • @167349productions - It's me - Andrew Murchie.

  • @EnhancedDimensions is EnhancedDimensions one person or a company.

  • youv'e got windows 7 don't you?

    Win XP is the best!

  • in Lightwave or Blender you can export left and right eye renders, now I need to get them into AE ,can anybody suggest a good workflow using these programs ?

  • hi, its work it any footage. so if i have a record from call of duty 1 i can convert to anaglyph 3d with this?

  • @aegypticus2 - No this won't convert any video to anaglyph 3d. You need to record two views, one from each eye, to do it well.

  • @aegypticus2 what you can do is use the iz3d driver.

  • hi,

could i follow this tut. but instead use footage instead of text?

  • The tutorial doesn't cover 2d to 3d conversion if that is what you're trying to do - I may try to get a tutorial together on that topic.

You could use greenscreen footage to interesting effect, but if you just used standard footage it would just be three blocks of video over each other.

    Hope that helps.

  • I'm not sure I understand your question. If you follow through the second part of this tutorial I go into creating the red cyan stereo views to create the 3D depth. The rest of the animation is done pretty much the same as the tutorial.

  • I've reponded to this on the enhanced-dimensions website. Due to YouTube limtations I cannot post the URL here.

  • I saw Avatar and notices that the glasses have changed to plain see-through instead of the usual red and blue.

I am a video artist and I would love to convert my existing video's to this new 3d vision format, or at least something similar. Is this possible an if so, is there any chance of you making a tutorial about this?

  • It's all about circular polarized or Xpol glasses, Google that and you'll see it's not really a DYI project. There's tons of work that goes into producing polarized displayable video. It would also take a special (ie. expensive) display on your side.
