I think you're right about it. I think it's a combination of race and class. From what I've seen, most men prefer thinner women (or last in-shape women) regardless of their body shape. Men of a higher class - those who are doctors, etc - can "afford" this type of woman. Guys who aren't as successful sometimes have to settle for a plumper woman. Not that there aren't men who prefer bigger women, but I think in general, most men's ideal is slim.

Docs & lawyers I dated are USUALLY not drawn to big butts like other types of men. They don't necessarily dislike them. It's just not something they look for or have to have. That said, they were a lot of men that I dated who would rate a woman whom I considered to be voluptuous as fat or needing to lose a few pounds. Like I said, most of the men I dated were sticklers for weight & a big ass falls into the fat category for them (even if the woman is not really fat).

I think you're right about it. I think it's a combination of race and class. From what I've seen, most men prefer thinner women (or last in-shape women) regardless of their body shape. Men of a higher class - those who are doctors, etc - can "afford" this type of woman. Guys who aren't as successful sometimes have to settle for a plumper woman. Not that there aren't men who prefer bigger women, but I think in general, most men's ideal is slim.
