Ok, I see I will be the first to respond to your video. I am very honest with the Deaf community and tell them I am not against the CI. I am not. I love to hear my granddaughter sing and talk. BUT what is becoming apparent is that the ethics around this device are becoming blurred. The doctor that did my granddaughter's surgery believed the lies the hearing mom was telling him and felt it needed to write a letter to the court against the child having summer visits with her Deaf dad!
@grandma2maj The mom was successful if getting her high paid attorney to trick the judge into putting a stipulation in the modified court order to force the use of the implants ALL the child's waking hours. Watch how it is the CHILD herself that wishes to be deaf around her dad. Listen to her excellent speech and tell me she is going to be irrevocably damaged if she is with her Deaf dad. NOT TRUE!!! This court is violating her rights and her dad's parental rights. Let her have a choice!
