@buzzobug Shabbat means Sabbath, and when you hear "Shabbat Shalom" this literally means "peaceful sabbath" in Hebrew.

@buzzobug Shabbat is the seventh day of the week (saturday). This day is Holy (gen. 1). Unfortunately the main Christian today doesn't celebrate Shabbat. This is not a good case, search in the church history and you will see that it's from antisemitism reasons the (catholic) church changed Shabbat into sunday worship... but more and more Christians are seeing this and make the step back to Shabbat HalleluJah!

Barry and Batya Seagal, a husband and wife team in Israel, sing it. They do things like organize Jewish-Christian festivals and also help out with orphans, I believe. The do great music. I have this CD. It's called Go Through the Gates. Quite good.
