i don't know why this is called the alien Wars. in almost all the contra games, you're against aliens. the other games you're fighting humans either influenced by aliens or aided by their stolen technology. can't you just fight a regular war for once? JUST ONCE? Contra: Vs Aliens Contra 2: Vs Aliens Contra 3 the Alien Wars: Vs Aliens.

The SNES version of Contra will always be the best. The music, and monsters were all very 80s/Sci-Fi horror. Deffo influenced by Predator and such. (Just check some of the artwork!). The newer Contras I dont like that much, but Contra 4 for DS is a step in the right direction.

I can't say I dislike Contra Hard Corps, there are worse games, but I think the game became somewhat generic in a video-game sense and kind of lost the 80s-alien movie influence. Also the SNES had better sound capabilities so the music for Contra III was very military and "Predator" like. and very epic in a sense. I wasn't too fond of the art style in the Corp games either really. Whislt Corps provides plenty of explosions and killing for a fun shooter, it lacks atmosphere I think.

I remember whenever I took on its second form I always tried to get the spiked balls since you can get weapons from it.

*Mini-Brain: Creates a destroyable barrier of mini-brains around the brain.

*Green and Red: Creates a snake that flies around the screen.

*Stone: Creates rolling pillars of stone balls.

*Crystal: Creates a rain of indistructible crystals.

*Eye: Like Crystal, except it rains eyes and the eyes can be destroyed.

*Blue: Gives the brain legs.

*Spiked: Rains power-ups and spike balls.

Probotector/Contra 3 is the best of the Contrea series, the newer ones just seem to lack the military like music on this on, and the cool boss designs.

lol what a fake. You get hit by the eyes at the end like 5 times (aka 5 of them touch you) and you dont die. Not only that, but in hard the arms go out farther when your on the missile. Talk about trying to look good when all you did was cheat. It took me and my brother hours to beat this on hard, but at least we beat it normally. Although that was like 5 years ago lol

It used the eyeball attack because the player chose it. The attack depends on whatever the player shot.

And you can't claim someone to be the best contra player if they're using tools.

were you manipulating the brain picking the eye somehow? and I never thought of leaving the 2 moving heads at the boss so the enemies pour out.  I just left a comment that someone else was the best contra player I've seen, but now I guess I have delete it.
