Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary is a wonderful place. These little piglets are SO LUCKY>on a farm that raises them for slaughter, they would have no where to even move. Just fatten them up and kill them. So sad. Pigs are very intelligent, caring creatures. I first gave up eating flesh of any kind because of a pig.
naww there gawjus! . if u guys were in australia, i would be there straight away and adopted them off u :) . i love piggys! although i dont no if my piggy Shilo would like them :/ .
I wish people knew just how much joy these animals get out of life, if only they are given the chance. They way they're romping around having fun here should be enough for anyone to see the emotional nature of pigs (or piglets!). They experience joy, sadness, fear, loneliness, and other emotions people only like to associate with themselves. It's time for people to wake up and take action to stop the cruel and barbaric practices of factory farming.
crazy.. these are farm animal .. if farm animal are ban ,, half of human population will be gone .. why,, cause crop will not support enough people .. cause it take too big of land to growth crop ,, unless we utilized 90 percent of land to grow crop .. vegetation type of diet will not able to support current population ..
Uh, what do you think farm animals eat? Crops (grain and grass). And having those crops pass through animals first means you need a lot more -- it's a very inefficient way to create nutrients for human consumption. But don't take my word for it -- ask the United Nations. I cannot post a link in a response but if you google "United Nations Vegan" you'll find their 2010 report
@superwhiz88 You need to watch movie called Earthlings , its here on youtube. It has many farm animals in it. Good movie maybe change your way of thinking.
@superwhiz88 The world has enough food to feed every single human being a 1500 calorie diet and that is JUST GRAINS. Whatever you have heard about food shortages is not true. The issue is distribution NOT shortages. There are other ways to eat delicious food, be sustainable, and let animals live.
@superwhiz88 YOU are the crazy one. WoodstockSanctuary 100% correct. To use the least amount of land and resources to feed the most people, we need to stop farming animals for "food". Problem not just land, but also water resources, and incomprehensible pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. Do you know that methane emissions from farming animals for meat and dairy contributes more greenhouse gases than ALL transport combined (yes, including aviation).
They are so cute! What a nice video you made. I remember back in college, a farmer kept bugging the heck out of me to buy my sweet rabbit for $20. Well, he eventually left me alone. It's a good feeling inside to rescue an animal and being able to take care for it.
they're so happy...

That farmer who wanted to raise these piglets for slaughter should have been hung upside down from a hook and flayed for twelve hours straight.
Aside from that, cute piglets.
