No offense meant to Bolt or the creators of Bolt, but I hope they DON'T make a sequel for the following reasons:

1. They finalized it so that a sequel would be useless. I mean, come on, what else could POSSIBLY happen?

2. Most sequels suck. Stick with me on this. Most sequels for animated movies end up having inferior graphics and a lacking plot line. If you need an example, look at any sequel of a Disney animated movie. It all ends up the same way: inferior in every respect.

What about Pixar sequels? Toy story 2 was just as good as the first one. And they're Disney. the santa clause two was tolerable, and dead man's chest. I agree, the classic disney sequels, like the hunchback of notre dame II were awful, but not ALL sequels suck.

An excellent example of why this was such a great film.

It's not gimicky or strangly directed like some other films. It's pure heart. Nobody who saw this scene didn't go "Aww" just a bit while watching this. The directors knew EXACTLY what direction they were taking, and made one dynamite feature.

Sadly, this is one of a kind nowadays. It's like everyone has demoted animation to the who-cares status, and won't use it for anything remotely well written. Where's Don Bluth when you need him?
