I enjoyed your video and the music is perfect too!
Always loved belly-dance classes, eating the food and now find my mitochondrial dna originated in Jasmine clan of Syria 10,000 years ago - we are all linked!
Thank you Oussayma for a insight into Syria. I think it is well edited and the photgraphs engage the mind Do you have any documentary about the Political History of Syria I would be intrested to view this if it exists.
ohh man i mis syria soo much and i mis its fights there the real fights not like in canada if there is 5 poeple that is soooo big lmao fights there are over 50 people lol love syria
clealry the person has not done their homework when it comes to the back ground music, as at 2.56 they have an Algerian song...i ask where is Asaala , great syrian singer ....
I am Russian but just adore syria...Once you visit Syria it's forever in your heart! Friendly people, delicious food, lot os sun and great ancient culture. Respect for Damascus, Tartous, Lattakia, Palmire...hope to discover more places of your country in future .From Russia with love!
I wish where I came from had such a rich culture. It seems like the people have a great sense of the importance of community and family. Very nice to see.
I am sure that the author of this vid made it and posted it in order to share knowledge . I posted a comment asking questions to the author of this video, but he/she never responded. I have nothing against syria/syrians as I watch lots of syrian drama and I visited syria twice.
I love it !! most of my family is from syria although my mom and dad were born in chile!! I want to visit SO badly i enjoy everything about the syrian culture !! thanks For the video!! its GREAT!!
Hey!! How are you? You mentioned in your comment that you really want to go back to Syria. I'm assuming you live in the US. I was wondering if there is a sizable Syrian population in the US?
I was just curious; I'm not Syrian but I really want to visit.

first, thanx for the effort and the video. you seem to have put many hours into this, but I would like to point out some stuff. You made this video about Syria yet it is mostly about Damascus. You omitted Syrian attractions like the castle of Aleppo, Palmyra, ma3loula, ugaret and others. also, you presented food like kebbe, falafel, shawerma, baklava are turkish and knaffa is Palestinian; thus not syrian.
I guess it is time to edit it and add more accuracy and diversity.
In history 1865 to 1960's to this present day in the history books in exeter shops it said Algeria use to be responsible for all the wars around the world. Their maybe peace in Algeria now that I would like to see but the war in Afgan and Iraq and Syria and Iran is still going on with the british.
It is beautifull documantry, i must say!!.. but, also alot of things are not coreectly represented..then it is mainly about damascus where i never saw the kind of people in the picture,, anyway it was worth watching it.. LONG LIVE SYRIA :D
It's so refreshing to view a documentary with narrative that explains the pictures (a nice combination of video and stills). Most "travel" videos on youtube are a bunch of pictures giving no idea what they are about. As for the various comments, while there are some that are thoughtful, it is sad that some only seem to have words of hate. Thanks, great video.
I second eaglefromsyria. A lot of effort is put in this video....but the conclusion that gets stuck in the back of the viewer's head is the rural aspect. Most of the people that appear in this documentary are from the rural and desert areas of Syria....no such an impression of modern LOOKING people!
I can't see the great job by showing bedouinss, as a syrian, I say, she's got some effort but she didn't present syria well. Syrians aren't bedouins or have mustaches can bond a donkey! lol
p.s. Oussayma be democratic and don't delete my comment this time ;)
i went to syria twice and saw alot of bedouins. they are the preservers of the arabian heritage and you should be more ashamed of the idiots in big cities who imitate the american dream instead of integrating aspects of western life into their own in a more natural way.
bedouins are tough and sweet people. you should be proud of them.
thank you all for your comments... :)
