Um, yeah. The better bands tend to be more entertaining, actually. Oh, and it's spelled 'loser', unless you're calling someone loose. But going to Wisconsin I would expect no less.
Similar styles? you have to be kidding me, the style of WI is so much more intense and physically demanding than the OSU step. I've marked time higher than OSU marches. Badger band rules! EAT A ROCK

I don't find group frolicking entertaining. Shouldn't you focus on sounding and looking tight, or at least having a balanced number of instruments (137 trumpets, 69 trombones, and 15 of everything else? Come on!)? Isn't good, precise music entertaining? That's why you buy a CD Canadian Brass and not Bridgeport Middle School band (no offense to anyone from any school actually called Bridgeport)

I saw Michighan states band at Nortre Dame and they really suck. They played Bon Jovi music at half time. They also seem to play Dudley Do right music every decent play their football team makes. The Wisconsin Badger band is the best in the midwest hands down.

hahaha.not a chance in hell. You are so right, i have heard high school bands better than this band. whats up with there drum major for 1? and for the rest of the band, as well, I am a buckeye and my nu.1 band of course is ohio state, but i have to say MI is alot better than this band. lord have mercy people watch the videos and see the difference.
@sleazypig I will have to disagree with u on that one big time. Wisconsin has to volume and that is play as loud as hell or dont play at all. consin band is highly over rated, and if u think this sounds good u must not know music at all, no dynamics at all
They have like 300 members. Seriously. Look at how many trombones there are. It's insane. I love the enthusiasm. Their marching style...OMG! How do they do it? I would break my ankles. THEIR CYMBALS ROCK!! The cymbal flashes were X-TREME! HA!
too bad their band had to be reprimanded multiple times before coming to ohio like little kids to be on their best behavior, unlike previous trips to other schools...judging from your comments sounds like this wasn't the reputation they've been known for! oh well...glad to see their shaping up.

I would venture to say that they rival Wisconsin's band in their similar styles.
