  • Dear God, I mean Michio Kaku...

  • Anything is possible in physics, just eat oranges.

  • Hey we finally did it! wooot popped a hole to another universe! *zlurp* oops. Physical laws not the same in the new universe. Clone is dismantled into primal energy. Not like we would know anyway, considering it was our clone and not us.

  • Impossible, asteroids rotate

  • Michio Kaku won the world series of poker... with Pokemon cards.

  • has this dude not seen event horison?

  • Kaku is just one of the many who are riding the waves created by Maxwell and other REAL physicists. Kaku just repeats all these, packages them in his delivery as if for high school science. He didn't come up with anything.

  • Eh? Kaku was one of those who came up with string theory? Ok that statement just shows how much you know.

  • For all of you without imagination... he's not talking about actually creating this... he is talking about what is possible with physics (theoretically) if we had the technology to create something this large, and if we had the nano technology to do it...and so forth He is well aware that this can't really be done right now.... please... he's asking you to use your imagination, because while it can't be done right now.... it's interesting. If you don't find it interesting, that's okay.

  • Since when did Mormons take over YouTube? I mean really wtf.

  • Comment removed

  • I was thinking about being an engineer, but the math was too easy :P

  • what if the universe cant sustain any solid matter?

  • thought energy....

  • now all we have to work out how the fuck were gonna get the nanotechnology &the biotech to clone an entire human being with transferable memory engrams &were good to go!! :D piecea ppiss....-_-

  • Wouldn't the two beams of light just collide like it would on Earth; why would space make it any different.

  • @128Btc yeh dude..open a a wormhole on the surface of the earth... that should it go wrong has potentially more destructive power than a billion hiroshimas... . myeh.. why not *kanyeshrug*

  • @theblaquebaastid That's not what i'm saying, if you have two lasers and point them at each other, they don't do anything, why would putting them in space make them any difference?

  • @128Btc lol when u say it like that it does sound kinda silly.. but ur not gettin it.. if we did what hes proposing something DOES happen..

  • @128Btc He didn't say they were beams of light. He said two beams of particles... The reason he was talking about doing this in space is because you could make a much bigger collider making for a much bigger explosion. Big enough to rip a hole in space-time.

  • This guy kaku again.. what a hack.. no wonder he's just a community college teacher.. he's just in this coz of personality and novelty..

  • @jackrazalas : What? You apparently don't know very much about Michio Kaku...LOL. He was one of the original physicist that came up with string theory, Kaku graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University, got his Ph.D from Berkley, and held a lectureship at Princeton University.... and that is just a bit of it. He's got a long extensive list of contributions to the physics community. So.... what's your educations in physics?

  • You are disgusting as it is. Why would you want another you built by nanotechnology on the other side of the black hole we so lovingly call the "Rabbit Hole." Only as a probe can I see this as a maybe ... --

  • If this fabric of space could be punctured do we even have the technology to achieve to create a wormhole and is negative matter possible to create?

  • he's sugar coating the Large Hadron Collider, & its purpose.. of course no one will take it seriously because the scale is so massive & dramatic. cmon, the thing is supposed to work around the entire sun... like away from all of our planets way.

  • similar einstein definition of gravity..

  • wormhole...maybe space time event and curvature

  • I think those are all military personnel. All of them are clean shaven, hair cuts and body language to suggest this.

  • LHC anyone?

  • @derman077 Sons of ...

  • @derman077 Just for the ppl who dont know.. LHC means Large Hadron Collider

  • I think its somewhat cruel, I can imagine the other version of me waking up on a completely unfamiliar planet, knowing nothing there, no one there, and how are we going to replicate...even if its not me..I feel pity for the creature that ends on the other side, after all hes got all my dreams, and memories D:

  • sounds WAY too familiar! theory seems "sound" and do able!

a PORTAL.. hummm.... start GATE?... hummm.. yeesssss.

  • sounds WAY too familiar! theory seems "sound" and do able!

  • Cool story bro

  • But, I don't get to go!

  • Dr Michio kaku has a very creative mind, he isn't saying this is how it will be, he is just giving an illustration to the possibility's. IF we make it.. in another 1000yrs we will have the technology to construct ways of travel that we can only imagine in the mind in today's world! When Marcus Aurelius walked the earth he wrote on paper, in this day and age we send email or text in an instant! The impossible is possible is the moral of his book!

  • poor Michio. He's talking to the lost generation of the worst Public Education in decades!

  • @anglekan public education is not a proper noun and shouldn't be capitalized.

  • @dmc31400 nobody cares

  • @anglekan Rubbish!

  • @DoubleDeathOmega You could use Wi-Fi ;P

  • funny...the only problem/question i had with this whole scheme is....how do u keep the asteroids from driftin out of alignment?

  • I laughed throughout the whole thing

How could someone come up with such a colossal nonsense from a concept as straightforward as a stargate?

  • @ronimacarroni because to create some as "straight forward" as a star gate this amount of colossal calculation and almost nonsensical (so far) setup is required

  • @soumyaaymous Unless we find naquadah and an alien race extremely more advanced then us who just happens to be related to us :)

  • It's Jimmy Page, brothers!

  • Some extra terrestrials are watching this thinking that Kaku is getting a little bit close to their technology, but they still got something better. lol.

  • One way ticket! You wont need a ticket home!

Ok that makes us feel safe...

  • How are the beams of light gonna travel faster and faster? If it's light, then it cannot go faster than 186,000 mi/sec

  • @MrAXDM It's not light, it's just shown that way to help keep track of what's going on, it'll be charged particles which can go to not quite but nearly the speed of light

  • @MrAXDM well.. in some cases it can. it can even go slower:)

  • no it cannot be solved with science, it can be solved metaphysics means Spiritual :), anyone know about the Astral projection ? :)

  • bunch of fags watching this video. WHY DONT YOU GO GET LAID FAGGOTS!

  • @loledatyou123 Why did you even bother to leave this comment? You had to come to this video first and your probably just mad cause your tiny little brain isn't developed enough to comprehend what he is talking about!

  • @CrankEmpire no my brain is superior to all of yours. that's why i know that everyone who watches this shit are faggots

  • @loledatyou123 immature

  • @loledatyou123 just a question do you have a job if you do what is it do people know you very well are you popular

  • @skimowhite586 i troll forums

  • @loledatyou123 well said! Michio is the gayest retard nwo sell out shill with his head so far up his ass that all he can seeis his own hyper inflated idiot box ego! This freaking moron has no clue to what Physics and astrophysics is. He lives in a gay hollywood/wallstreet khazarian hell hole world and wants us all to join him. No thanks you slimely little traitor to humanity and sell out for the new world order dumbed down slave agenda. Got to hell michio koo koo and don't come back!

  • this is stupid idea there would all ready be another one of you there and what will happen if the other side will be doing that as well and who know the other side mabey want to destroy this universe or dump crap in it

  • Anything is possible in physics, it is just a question of energy.

  • @arbide3 Well, no. That wouldn't even be magic, because, if anything is possible, then ultimately, there are no rules. Physics has a lot of rules, and the universe is far too orderly for just anything to happen.

  • @arbide3 big words einstein

  • @arbide3 A perpetual motion machine is impossible. If you knew about thermodynamics or read Kaku's book this series is based on you would know that.

  • Even down to the neurological side it s still a copy. I want send my self not a copy.

I want to be know that I am there for my self. even if I could not reture to my own world

  • I like the idea up to point of having to make a copy of my self. a Copy is just a copy its not the real me. If I could open a gate I want it to be my self on the other side not some copy. Thats the loop hole here. Unless I can send my mind to copyed me there is no point.

  • @QDOMA well if ur a exact copy of your current self, down to the neurological side, a exact copy would be just you with all your memories and experience. thus would be a identical u in all it's sense.

  • LOL, Negative Matter, why doesn't he use Red matter *sarcasm*

  • what is the name of the song playing when the show starts???

    THX in advance :D !!!

  • Where is he gonna get that negative matter?

  • This is complete bs made up from thin air.

  • @pcuimac it's comments like that that kept us in the dark ages, theories like this could be possible now if it wasn't for negative thinking (and religious oppression) leading up to the renaissance

  • @crazedcanadian2001 This asian guy is simply mixing some accelerator physics with einsteins bending of space time plus some additional nanotech and the idea that we could make in principle a copy of all the information in a brain and send it through a hole in space time. The energy you need would amount to creating a nearly stable black hole large enough to bring billions of nanomachines through. This would need more energy then our sun provides in a day. It´s technobabble bs.

  • @pcuimac this is just a hypotheses, tests and experiments in the past that you dismiss as "technobabble" have proven to be useful tools in the future for such experiments like this, but again they are just hypotheses, although possible we do not posses the power to do so yet but that doesn't mean we won't. cell phones today have more power than the most advanced super computer in the past. This power isn't out of our reach and "this asian guy" is Michio Kaku a brilliant man who deserves respect

  • @crazedcanadian2001 Don't be nice to him. He's clearly a dim-witted moron.

  • @Ub3rSk1llz FAG

  • @pcuimac He's not saying we're going to do it now. All he's saying is in theory that's how you'd do it. In the future we might be able to harness the power of countless stars in order to generate the energy.

  • @pcuimac NERD

  • it does not work....... wt u say is wrong about dna transmutation...........

  • I don't think the practicality matters, its the possibility that counts. If we survive long enough, that theory will develop into something far more elegant and practical.

  • great as long as those asteroids/planet size rocks dont rotate...... and we are able to fire atoms like that... and we perfect nanite technology to reproduce a human.... and there is a crazy oriental guy to oversee it all... and a bunch of dumb looking americans to get suckered into believing it...

  • even if it were possible, i can't conceive of a reason to construct a one-way journey into an unknown place in order to send our "information".

  • lol fringe anyone?

  • Why not just save a few thousand, billion Dollars and learn to meditate and concentrate and open that gateway straight in your brain.

    Like the Yogis do.

The pituitary gland is that gateway.

    Everyone already has it!!!!!

    Standard issue divine technology.

Has been invented millions of years ago.

    Cheers!

  • @VeggiePower303 astral projection is a pain in the ass, I get to the vibrating part and I get distracted :/

  • Might it not be better to travel to the expected wormhole in the center of our universe to explore options and learn more about what already exist?

  • too much pot

  • @frankxc13 retard.

  • this guy is pretty much out of his mind.. experiments to open a working gateway or stargate must start on earth...not in space...yah we have heard about the concept of atom smashers....most of his works are base on theory...not proven or existing yet

  • @nathancute123 what part of THEORETICAL physicist don't you get?

  • @nathancute123 isn't that how every idea starts? Then someone years and years later reads your papers then adds to it etc. etc. until you get the result you wanted. All the ancient scientists had that happen to them. Your response is exactly what they had said about them. He is crazy, out of his mind, nothing proven etc. You are intitled to your opinion, I look at it we can't do it yet with the technology we have.

  • great

  • Somebody as had to have seen this. It was on BRINK, or SCI FI SCIENCE on Discovery Science. They made food in a computer. They synthesized it , just like you saw on THE JETSONS. They made one working mechanical part.. just like a lego, and they also made a food patty. They ate the thing.. Please respond if you know what I'm talking about and if you know what to look for. I know I did not trip out and dream this up or hallucinate it.

  • It would suck if that hole led to the middle of a star, lol.

  • dr kaku is very sane...but he needs nanotechnology for his plan also...he is launching a defacto invasion of another universe and the tholians on the other side may view this invasion as a hostile act of war?

  • so much bullshit.

why would it be on the asteroid field (wouldn't the asteroids interfear with the particle beams? wouldn't it be better to do it in empty space?)

also no matter how large your "ring" is you'll still never be able to accelerate your particles faster than the speed of light.

and the energy of such a collision would not be nearly enough to puncture a hole in the fabric of space.

also there's no such thing as negative matter unless he means anti matter

  • @GeneralGrin so... watching star trek every week automactically makes you more intellegent than one of the worlds top qualified scientist and physicist? .. I asked Spock and he said that is not logical.

  • @edstar83 yea spock said the same thing about the borgs his logic is without doubt.

  • @GeneralGrin Main reason you build it near an asteroid field is it is cost effective. The belt around Sol is large enough for the experiment, you mine asteroids to build your space stations and the collider.

  • @GeneralGrin Thing is, you have not been trained especially for this, he has.

The astroids probably would interfere. The energy of such collision wouldn't make a big hole. Just a small one, the speed of light isn't the limit, the universe used to expand that fast and may still. The force faster than the speed of light colliding would make a hole through space, maybe small, maybe big. And most people call anit matter, negative matter, it has negative gravity properties.
