Nagayya garu must have been inspired by higher divine call to make this movie. Technically so sound the movie is. Example, all the other famous singers are also introduced which makes it so natural and there is air of humility. Nagayya garu was totally involved in the movie. He is so happy and energetic while acting (experiencing Brahmanandam). Many new movies portray Bhakta to be malnourished with dark circles around eyes. Truly blessed is our life too. This is a master piece and evergreen. I am proud that Chittor Shri. NAGAYYA has been my Grandfathers Chittor Shri Venkatasubramaniam classmate in chittoor. I was not even born when he made his way to my house in chennai. His song is a real master piece and evergreen. Nagaiah's voice even to an untrained ear sound absolutely divine! So sweet that to distinguish veena and his voice is difficult. Feted by kings, commoners and admired by heads of state....Nagaiah has seen absolute zenith and due to his even greater humanity, has seen abject misery/penury in later yrs. i read his small Autobio and was grief stricken for a longtime. Such noble soul deserved much better! Hope his memories outlast humanity!

You can get a copy in India for abt Rs. 100. I am afraid I do not know about overseas purchases. But, I did see a couple of old telugu movies on sites like amazon.
