To me, FF13 looks terrible on 360. All the fanboys who are like 10-12 just getting into Final Fantasy. And well Final Fantasy games don't feel right to me if it's not on Playstation or a Nintendo console. FF13 is a great game, and I don't care that it's on 360, I just like playing the game, considering it doesn't have dlc and won't have dlc. if the 360 had FF13 dlc, I'd be pissed.
I wish Square was this fair when they cancelled FFVII on the N64 and moved it to the Playstation. FF8 wasn't bad at all either. I loved, and still love, the Playstation-era Final Fantasies much better than the PS2 era. I didn't even know of the whole "Emo-Anime" style when I bought it when I was 13. Like you said, at least they didn't cancel it on the PS3 and move it to the 360.

Not really. Its not that much more powerful than the 360. It may seem like it but its not, the reason it somewhat is is because of the 25-50GBs of data on Bluray. Nothing more, nothing less.

I agree 100%. People should buy the game for whatever system they want. Personally I am buying an Xbox 360 Arcade (I hear its the Jasper model) a hard drive and next year I am buying Final Fantasy 13 for the Xbox 360. I could buy it on PS3 (seeing as how my mom has a PS3) but I just buy multiplat games on 360. Three games I am buying for PS3 are Metal Gear Solid 4, Valkyria Chronicles, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Also fanboys are now complaining because Metal Gear Solid: Rising is multiplat.
I think that the breakdown of exclusivity will benefit the 360 to the detriment of the ps3, as you will be able to get more of the popular games on a cheaper platform. Good for 360, bad for ps3.

Square is the fucking king of CG FMVs. They will use it at any chance they can get, much like many Japanese developers.
And now that I've watched the trailer in question, I can see a difference between the "CG FMV" and the gameplay footage.
Some of the things that the cutscenes do (animating individual hair strands and jackets) haven't been done properly without either doing only a small amount of canned animation (Max Payne's jacket, for instance) or only using a small part to animate (Zoey from Left 4 Dead has two small hair strands that animate when she moves).
How does it "deliver experiences that no console can?" Outside of Killzone 2 and Heavenly Sword, I don't see any other game that delivers an experience than the PS3 can.
But let's get this out of the way now: Both systems are pretty similar tech-wise. The PC can outclass them any day of the week, but each system has their own perk that makes them strong in separate areas.
If you compare heavenly sword and final fantasy XIII, you will notice that they're quite similar. But you know that heavenly sword shows the playstation 3's capabilities. Same applies to final fantasy XIII.

Personally I am buying an Xbox 360 Arcade (I hear its the Jasper model) a hard drive and next year I am buying Final Fantasy 13 for the Xbox 360. I could buy it on PS3 (seeing as how my mom has a PS3) but I just buy multiplat games on 360. Three games I am buying for PS3 are Metal Gear Solid 4, Valkyria Chronicles, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Also fanboys are now complaining because Metal Gear Solid: Rising is multiplat.

And now that I've watched the trailer in question, I can see a difference between the "CG FMV" and the gameplay footage.
Some of the things that the cutscenes do (animating individual hair strands and jackets) haven't been done properly without either doing only a small amount of canned animation (Max Payne's jacket, for instance) or only using a small part to animate (Zoey from Left 4 Dead has two small hair strands that animate when she moves).

How does it "deliver experiences that no console can?" Outside of Killzone 2 and Heavenly Sword, I don't see any other game that delivers an experience than the PS3 can.
But let's get this out of the way now: Both systems are pretty similar tech-wise. The PC can outclass them any day of the week, but each system has their own perk that makes them strong in separate areas.

Just because you can't see a game showing off the playstation 3's capabilities, doesn't mean that it's not.

Us 360 guys have to deal with that all the time, our exclusives just end up on the PC remade and better.

they cry because the better version will be on 360, only because games play better on 360 its a proper games console, PS3 is some HD multimedia crap know one asked for.
