  • I'm waiting for my LadyCup to arrive--I hope I can use it. I couldn't get the Keeper in. It was very stiff and a little too big. These look more pliable. Thanks for this video! =)

  • the colors makes me want them !!!!! x) I love the neon pink one !

  • I have an emergency. I just got a LadyCup and I like it. I don't feel it inside at all but the stem was a little uncomfortable. I trimmed it and now its worse I"m afraid to trim it all the way because I don't want to loose the cup. What should I do about this? A lot of woman trim the stem off completely don't they then shouldn't I be fine? Please tell me your thoughts.

  • @surpingbutterfly -- You'll be ok, just leave enough on the stem to where you can still reach it. Some people trim the entire stem off because they have a very low cervix / short vagina, so they can reach it easily without the stem. But that's not the case with everyone. To make the stem more comfortable, you can fine-tune your trimming and make it smoother. Take some fingernail clippers and smooth the edges. Instead of like this |_| make the edges like this \_/. Or file them a bit.

  • Their web site suggest not boiling or sterilizing it but does not specify why or via the kind of sterilization. Though they did recommend sterilizing it with their brand of soap or tablets. My question is, does this mean that I cant sterilize them with rubbing alcohol? I just bought one with the intentions of using rubbing alcohol but now I'm unsure if I should order a soap or tablets. They are just made of medical grade silicone.

  • @surpingbutterfly -- For some reason, even though most cups are made of medical silicone, the companies all seem to disagree on what is ok to use for cleaning. I'm not sure if its because different companies' materials have a slightly different makeup? So basically, if we as individuals decide to use a method that is not recommended on one company's site, but is recommended on another, it would be a personal choice to do so, outside of any company liabilities.

  • Can young and mid teenage girls use one, such as myself?

  • @cheacky3 -- Plenty do, as long as your cultural and religious, or personal beliefs are ok with it. Although young girls may need more practice while they get to know their body, but girls as young as 12 use these.

  • @cheacky3 I suggest to try it :) !!!!

  • Yay something pretty is going in my vagina!!!

  • the lilac cup is pretty, like the red too. I actually started collecting these lol.

  • When you hold up the large Lotos it looks enormous ;)

My insertion tips: wash with hot water (as warm as you can stand) - it goes in easier when it's warmed up; when using punch down, place the punched in part towards your clit/pubic bone - when I was placing the punched part to the side it had trouble popping open.

  • Great Video. Thanks for sharing :)

  • do you have any tips for breaking the seal when taking out a lady cup? i know how to get it out once i do that, but it's hard to break the initial seal and get it down far enough to grab the base.

  • @waterlily716 - A lot of people like to bear down with their muscles like they are having a bowel movement, to bring it closer to their grasp. The dry fingers trick helps too, keep some tissue in yoru hand to dry off with every now and then for better grip. The only way I can break a ladycup's seal is to rock it from side to side. That kind of exposes the holes to air, so they can draw it in, thus breaking the suction. It helps to tilt more to one side than the other, like right, right, etc

  • @MenstrualCupInfo Ah OK, so that's how you break the suction! I tried one time with my new Ladycup and got so discouraged I just went back to the Diva, lol. Practice practice practice...

  • That dye doesn't do any damage or come off or anything??

  • @itsme123445 -- No its not like a color on the outside or anything, that's actually the color of the silicone through and through. The colors used in medical silicone have to bemedically safe, because its often used for artificial internal body parts (heart valves, cartilage replacement, etc.).
