two issues with the GT-R,with all the electronic systems it makes the car more forgiving a real drivers car should bite you in the ass if you step an inch out of line and also, its still a Nissan, you can't impress anyone by saying " I drive a nissan" maybe a ferrari, lamborghini or porsche but not nissan.

I think the BMW M3 is more like competition for the Carrera 2S, not so much a GT3, that's what the M3 GTS is for. Also, I'd say that Porsche's answer to the GT-R is the Carrera Turbo, not the GT3. Yes, the 997 GT3 is certainly the best car Porsche currently make, but is it the fastest? Certainly not. (997 Mk2 Turbo S 0-06 in 2.7 sec.)
