I think Jones suggested names that he thought would bring in better recruits. Hawaii recruits would be drawn to Cal Lee, bigger recruits might be drawn to Norm Chow and Kevin Gilbride.

Notice how JJ left out Greg McMackin from the list of coaches to replace him. I think McMackin would be the right choice for head coach. But does he want to stay in paradise or move to hell hot Texas. It's time for him to step it up to head coach... don't need to be following JJ.
