  • Hitler was probably dancing to this.

  • Laibach always try to show that the west culture is totalitarian too.

  • Guess I was misunderstood. What I meant is: 1) Yeah, One Vision is totally fascistoid 2) Laibach is criticizing Queen's "One Vision" 3) Laibach is 100% anti-Nazis / Anti-Fascists

  • Actually what most inbred illiterate subhumans who devote your lives to jewish porn propaganda, dont know is:

    ///////

Hitler was trying to liberate the slavic race, majority of East Europe, from the subhumans like poles, turks, gypsies, jews and other extra-european non-whites.

Go back to Asia, lol. Europe? For the whites.

  • Laibach members are slovenians, one of the countries that most suffered with the attrocities of Nazism.

While I love Queen, I have to say the lyrics sound totally fascistoid to me (One Man, One Goal, One Heart, One Soul... all we need is One World Wide Vision!!!)

  • Hab meine 80er Ray-Ban wieder ausgegraben - und meine tochter hat sie mir geklaut. Die Brille is ja soooooooooooooooooooo cooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • Wow. Very cool Video..... can you do that with Sympathy for the Devil by Rolling Stones, too?

  • @MrAntipattern I dont think the stones ever released an official video for that song

  • AWESOME! GENIAL!

  • I'd like to hear Queen's audio over top of Laibach's video lol

  • I did not know that Queen made a cover of Laibach...

Like said Martin Luther King (King Kong) "Ich hatte ein traume....ein reich fur ein tausend jahren....."

  • @groslucas Laibach made a cover of Queen

  • Get me ein light beer!

  • @vaguelyhumanoid and here I thought I was the only one who always heard that phrase!

  • @vaguelyhumanoid A light beer for the world!

  • There are layers of irony and cultural/political references to Laibach that are probably impossible for us North Americans and even Western Europeans to really understand. It is definitely all about pranks/IRL trolling.

  • this is how queen would have sung if the nazis won the war :)

  • @Gash1234 now you get it - the content is the same... its just translated restyled but it hase the same meaning.

  • @derBreunig Yup, and when I realised that a long time ago I was quite shocked. Gives the song quite a different annotation...

  • Laibach display the characteristic attitude of the retro-avante garde towards culture and towards ideology. In a time of ultimate irony, they play with the only images of the absolute manifest in the world. Pro-Tip: they're trolls just like Zizek.

  • @fineek "Pro-Tip: they're trolls just like Zizek." Goddamn Slovenians! :P

  • @fineek Goodness me you really are quite silly.

  • @fineek laibach ironically legitimizes a text already fraught w/ contradictions & far more ambiguity than a mock-serious chant-manifesto: selling bowdlerized MLK jr w/ self-deflating "fried chicken", a gay-immigrant-usurped fuhrer for ALL masses based on charismatic command of musical oratory for chart annihilation, after much anti-apartheid lambast. this is cheeky laggard in 80s vogue of charity hits. abs manifest is best when tampering w/ We Are the World= too serious to ridicule unlike Queen?

  • @fineek this comment is all the more fascinating for being slightly beyond me...thanks!

  • Super )))

  • Laibach arent Nazis.

  • @Merzbowxnoise They said they are much Nazi as Hitler was a painter.

Hitler was a painter. Laibach is Nazi. So good.

  • @Soveraine

Hitler THOUGHT he was a painter, though some acadamy of arts in vienna rejected him due to lack of talent.

    if only they hadn't. -.-

  • @NamesAreJustWords I would actually agree with the academy. I've seen his paintings. They're nothing special.

  • @Jaeger7793 what i was saying is if they had just accepted him, many people might have been spared a lot of pain and sorrow for he probably would have spent his life drawing postcards. i've seen them on tv, and i think they weren't special at all, too ;)

  • @NamesAreJustWords Maybe, maybe not...he could always find a different way to get his master plan going. Maybe he could have used the sales to fund his master plan. It doesn't really matter, though.

  • @Soveraine It is true that they say that they are fascists as much as Hitler was a painter. (Hitler said he was an artist rather than a politician.) And that is their way to say that they are cryptofascists. They are terribly great at staying in their acting. But for some reason people like us who actually understand Laibach often can't escape commitment to translate for people like you that it means they are fascists who are not fascists. But aren't they just tricky, huh?

  • @Merzbowxnoise They are fascists as much as Hitler was a painter.

  • Read a book...

  • Yeah. Doesn't make sense does it. You figured that out.

  • @angelforfreedom

They aren't Nazis, they just use imagery based on the Nazi regime.

  • ha ha. at last a queen video worth watching. nicely done doutonight. and the only thing similar about the videos is that both freddie mercury and milan fras have moustaches!

  • lol, I didn't think of the moustache thing before! I like how it almost syncs up, too.
