I timed it using a stop watch it took around 1.75 ± 0.15 sec to travel 160 FT so unless my math is wrong your average speed across the water should be somewhere between 57.4 - 68.1MPH
Actual average speed was most likely close to 62.3 MPH so Id guess you would of entered water around 70 ± 2 MPH
its a HONDA 2 stroke, ive drown them out, pulled the spark plug on the trail kicked it over with throttle pinned-to clean out then ride the piss out of it- ITS A HONDA dude! ya cant break em!!,but a good cleaning never hurt!
he was talking about drying the bike out inthe end but that honda was dry it was still idleling when he shut it off.the kx must have not made it.30sec of crossing ?? maybee 3 sec.ive never made it moer than 70 80 ft in three ft of water and i try all the time dont know what im doing wrong maybee farther than 80 but never could stay on top of the water
There was two CR 250's on site, The one that crossed was the 2nd Honda CR 250. If you puase the first frame of the video you can see the 1st CR 250 upside down at about 2 O:clock. So 2 bikes had to be Dried.
This is only a partial edit, There is a bunch more footage for the "Jesus Crossing"
Try about 5 seconds of crossing time!
I think that Canoe could have crossed in 30 seconds.!
dude your insane!! what made you think you could do that? what if your front wheel just hit and you flipped? seen a truck do it but all wheels turning with paddle tires, what gave you the idea? what were you thinking just before hitting the water doing 50mph?
Is that the entrance to bayou texar?

dont u think a padle tire would work better
dirt454 4 years ago
That would make it much easier, Our point was to do it the hard way so no one can say, "oh, well look at the paddle tires. Anyone can do that"

crudbudsucks 4 years ago
you can not get the same speed up going back the other direction due to the swamp.
