@Hiei102493 you ever booted normal android on a G1? its about this slow...Sadly 528mhz when clocked 'normally' to the chip, or 384 when clocked 'normally' to htc/tmobile (the chip does 528, normal stock os does 384 max) its bound to be pretty bloody slow...
@mystica55121234 Well, I can't argue with that. Didn't mean to insult anyone if I did. No, I have never booted android on a g1. I would of gotten one, but couldn't afford it at the time. The G1 was great as a milestone, but I am now glad I didn't get one. I have a samsung vibrant now. After having this phone for a few weeks, I wonder why you would want to run anything besides android on a phone. No way I'll ever get an iPhone or openmoko now.
@Hiei102493 i rather love android as well, but i've been curious as to what openmoko would be like as an alternate... i was rather amazed when i saw this dual boot video, as now I want to mod mine to do this ;) the G1 was, and still is, the best keyboard available on a device.. nothing else samsung/HTC/anyone else has made yet compares in ease of use or ability to enter special characters without going through a menu. That said it is awfully slow and has such limited ram :( 96 megs for the OS
