this can also be used in myspace for images or words

Marquee tag has been depricated by the W3C and only works on IE. Wouldn't suggest using it, but it is a pretty cool effect even if it only works on one browser =]

Well, there's pretty much no point learning HTML. Download Adobe Flash CS3 (Professional). Learn the Action Script Codes etc. I may post some tutorials up in the near future on how to do it. :)
