I saw one up close on display (Could touch & peek inside) in Tillamook Oregon but getting onboard to fly is quite the treat. I hope the girl realizes just how fortunate she has been to experience this.
If I had enough money I would convert one into my Home and put better noise-reducing-sound-insulation. Ever since I saw one on an 80s TV show I've loved it! PBY Catalina: a wonderful plane! I love this plane. Kind of takes all the sting out of those fateful words... "We've lost power to both engines and are going to have to set down in the water".

@dattomact the gun bubbles weren't always gun bubbles. They used them for search and rescue before they realized pby+bombs+guns=no u-boats!!!!
