we were doing a listening in my french lesson and the person in the tape said she liked this band so my teacher found this and me and my friend were like 'we have to find the english lyrics for this' so thanks this has made it so much easier =]
In the info box, you said you wanted to be corrected, so I wanted to point out that the line in the third verse should say, "that does more good than harm" not "then harm." Thank you very much for posting both translations of the lyrics, though. I'm definitely going to subscribe.
hey im trying to learn how to play this song but im having a little trouble... can anyone tell me how the song is divided into the verses, chorus and bridge please?? ^^
Yes it is a pity but I came across the band "Empyr" during my Youtube-ing and although they sing in English their sound is very similar to that of Kyo. So if you're looking for more music like theirs - it's the closest thing ^.^.
As the lead singer is Benoît Poher (the lead singer of Kyo) and even Florian Dubos is the guitarist of Empyr as he is here.
Yes, I understood eveything =D. Just "apprendre" and plus - "simple" or "facile". I know exactly what you mean, I disliked learning French in school as well! And what use is knowing the word sharpener or eraser o.0? Hee hee! With music you actually learn phrases and they get stuck in your head =D. I love this song ^.^
yeah i look at the lyrics in french and in german and so i know what they mean and the sentences are easier to learn cuz you can fill other words in but it's still the same correct grammar ;)
i don't know what is use knowing these words but maybe when ur in france and go shopping and you need an sharpener or eraser for school!? or ur doing an exchange...but i don't know xDD
Yeup I had to print the lyrics for this because we're going to learn this song in French class, along with A Whole New World from Aladdin in French. We have to perform it at open house lmao. (:
I agree. I love Kyo and their easy to listen to rock sound ^.^. Learn French through music, most fun way to do it =). We'll have our site up and running soon ^.^!
I love this song!! I usually dont like foreign music but this is great!!!!!

"She's a part of me,
Elle fait partie de moi"
I'm positive that it's actually "She left me"
abbeyjewel 2 years ago
No, I think it's not... I speak French (so please excuse my mistakes), and "elle fait partie de moi" means well that the girl is a part of him.
"She left me" is translated by "elle m'a quitté" or "elle est partie" ;D

The name of the guy with the dreadlocks is Florian Dubos. His brother (Fabien Dubos) is the drummer ^.^.
I also came across the song randomly, a little while ago and just fell in love with the music =p.
