What the fuck is this American ideal of English food being crap. This is the third time I've heard this. I've lived in USA for nearly 5 years and found the food appalling. If your food is so great then how come you've got a British chef (Gordon Ramsey) sorting out your cooks and restaurants?

you are so right America has cheese in a can and they eat and eat at those all you can eat places and have to be cut out of there homes.

its mainly cause it doesnt have as much taste as other foods. and i dont think we are saying that american food is any better, lol  just that alot of english food, at least that i have tasted, just doesnt have as much flavor as say, italian, or mexican food do. I do really enjoy some english food though, so its unfair to say all the food is bad. :D

What English food have you eaten that hasn't had much flavour and by any chance was this in America? I've had English food in America and it was crap so I understand if that's your opinion.
