  • This is all BS. You'll never get those 6 packs relaxing like that. The only way is to crunch using abs machines. I usually set weights to 100 lbs on the machine, and swear it out till I cannot move. Works!

  • you can do the same thing on the floor. it'll carry less momentum too. just lie flat on your back with arms above your head and straight while your legs are slightly apart and straight too. Then lift both your legs and arms to meet at your navel. If that's too hard, do 20 sets with each leg.

    I've been working out for 3 months and my abs are hard when i flex but they don't show yet. I gave up for the time being since it's summer and I'm a 16 year old with a short attention span. lol.

  • This involves too much momentum. Try without bouncing your upper body. Gets more of your lower abs seperatly.

    If you're talking about specifically the rectus abdominus, there are four 'sections'.

    You can't be saying the three parts are rectus abdominus, external and internal obliques, because that's not upper, middle, and lower.

    Go read a book about muscles.

  • @ZaanyEST Perhaps you are using too much leg muscles. You have to focus your workout on your abs. Maybe use your abs instead of your legs to lift up. I don't really know, this is what i can tell you.

  • @ZaanyEST You have to focus your energy on your abs.. try the lift using as little of your legs as possible. You get the abs from using those muscles to lift your legs.
