  • Too much acceleration before seeing the exit of the turn caused him to go wide, fixated his sights on the truck when he saw it saw rode directly into the truck's path. Practice counter steering in an abandoned road or parking lot and improve your chances of survival in cases like this. Above all, ride within your limits always. RIP brother.

  • HOPE THE BIKE IS OKAY !

  • everyone should learn to counter-steer, its saved me more than once and would have saved him...

  • R.I.P.

  • He was doing great until he saw the truck, R.I.P.

  • PRZECIWSKRĘT!!!!

  • really sad. I`m sorry for his family

  • Any decent biker knows (and for those of you that dont then listen) that if you too hot in a corner with risk of crossing to wrong side of the road and something like this happening just lean down further baby, these bikes will go down so much farther than almost everyone thinks, so do it or end up as a splat on YouTube. End of.

  • Absolutely! If you let the bike pop up you WILL go wide & get hurt/killed. If you pull it down just a bit more you might lowside or you might pull it off. Ones a cert, the other is a gamble(with damn good odds in your favor I will add). That was not a difficult corner, what got him was sheer PANIC. From experience the correct thing to do is DON'T TOUCH THE BRAKES, move your weight inwards, little bit more pressure on the lower handlebar. Learn it & trust it.Condolences to his family.

  • im honestly not sure whether its right to like or dislike! My Uncle was in a head on collision a bit like this and died so if any idiot wants to post stupid comments, then think what if you saw this with your own eyes not just on a computer screen! Or in another case you wouldnt be able to think! Get a LIFE!

  • RIP

  • Ooohh shit...!!!

    you made a mistake,...!!

    and die..

    I'm sorry about that..

  • The faster you go the bigger the mess

  • target fixation kills.

  •  I admire bikes, their strength and power, but as a pilot, I know what speed is and how fragment of time a person has during those moments to react. I am not a rider, but please people, leave the speed for air as it is most safest up there . . . if you can't fly as pilot, get someone else to take you for a joy ride and get your rocks out in a safe way = )

  • luckily, noone else was harmed seriously.

  • Riding beyond his ability and target fixated. He killed himself. Still sad though.

  • R.I.P. and thought to yours from denmark

  • Is he dead now ? Oo

Poor dude .. i hope he is on a good place now !

  • No I don't need motorcycle training. Why ? Because I'll never get on a two wheeler again. Serious accident 30 years ago and I'm still in pain every day of my life. Also great friend killed while not paying attention to where he was riding.

  • RIP from Germany.

  • I just recently got my licence for MC and I am 36 years old. It's just sad to see. Like someone else said; you can't just pick up a sportsbike (yes even the hornet) thinking you can manage high speed cornering. Please please don't do this. Most bikes has power to get a beginner in trouble if he is a bad rider. My condolences to the family, friends and relatives.

  • I don't see how anyone could survive that. RIP

  • stupid american

  • he died?

  • rip

  • The real FUN of riding big bikes is leaning in the corners, curves, and etc... not how fast it can go in the straight line.

  • rip bro

  • @jumper1294 Stupid Jackass

  • @jumper1294 If something Like that everhappens to you and you die ima gonna laugh then teabag you Stupid cunt

  • R.I.P :(

  • It looks like he was trying to save it in the end by going to the grass but the truck also swerve right to avoid him and actually ended up sealing it. Not much it could be done in this case. It was a rider mistake that he paid dearly. No morons in this story (like in other cases). Just sad. RIP.

  • To all those who have said this guy was stupid and it was his own fault. We were all young and foolish once. The only difference. We were not quite as unlucky. Every rider who has clocked up a decant mileage knows this is true. At least it was quick and painless.

  • yeah problem with bikes is you cant really brake through the corner to scrub speed, grab the front brake mid corner and the bike just stands up and goes straight on. rule of thumb slow in fast out.

  • cazzo!

  • unfortunate as it is ,glad it was a big truck ,and not some one in a car he could have killed also

  • I know that it is a really bad thing, but not only that he loses is life, it also turned the fun switch to the off position for everybody :(

    It is very sad.

  • yah, closed tracks are much easier to to learn on. im learning in empty parking lots for now, but im getting better. i'll take it slow & stay alive. not a bad idea to learn on a track though.

  • speeding way too fast into a blind turn = never a good idea.

i own a bike & am learning to ride it carefully because this is my biggest fear; doing something careless for one second & ending up dead at barely 21. if you wanna ride fast, you CANNOT just jump on a sport bike & race off into the distance - you have to practice for months/years before you can even attempt fast corners & stunts; this guy never should have went into that blind turn at that speed. im a new rider & even i know that..

  • @yuskjr well that is no entirely true, with those months and years, this is pretty easy to learn the basics, but i was learning it on closed track with instructor. That is what a lot of people forget. Racing is cool, but dying is not. Wanna race, go on track. It is cheaper then most of people think. At big cart track for 10 people for 1 hour i takes like 30$ so it is less then filling the tank. And there will be no trucks, no oncoming trafic, just you and friends.

  • I feel very sorry for him. If only all of us guess when our time will come! Rest in peace brother! It can happen to all of us! :-(

  • did this guy survive that crash

  • @con3legend Infortunnately not. It was a deadly crash!

  • I would have been sad if it was an accident. You can clearly see they were going over 90 mph on a turn. Truly stupid... sorry but I don't have much respect for bikers who don't obey the road laws. They were made for a reason, so shit like this won't occur.

  • WTF is written in the description??

  • rest in peace :(

  • Slow down is all I have to say... Ride safe my friends!

  • Poor guy, horrible accident!

  • Ive seen this a few times and it pains me every time, every rider should work hard on their quick change of direction and learn not to look at the hazard that is luring them to death. it is counter steer but not like the swerve maneuver in the new test, it is counter steer and look at the direction you want to go, if you counter and look straight ahead the bike will go back to its original course so you have to look the new direction, good luck guys and dont let this happen to you

  • @2wheelsteve Agree totally..This poor soul didn't have the best corner technigue, but he had plenty of room to lean and from the photos his rear tire was in good shape. I think after his acceleration, he was surprised by the big truck coming thru, stared right at it..and end of story.LOOK where u want to GO. and for Heavens' sake countersteer.

  • @SR71BBFLYER Good point well made.

  • @chunkyfecalbreakfast The MSF basic and Advanced courses, along with studying dozens of articles from professional motorcyclists have saved me from roadrash or worse for over two decades of riding. No one is immune, but when I ride it is with the mentality of a fighter pilot - knowing that if I'm not sharp and attentive I may not be coming home. I only hope it was quick for this poor guy and he didn't suffer much.

  • ugh makes me not want to ride to work tomorrow

  • shit happends :/

  • Comment removed

  • can happen to any of us, and it only takes seconds,,, ride safe brothers!

  • jah kno, cant wait 2 get mi 6billz honda RR tho

  • Scared as shit for two seconds and then he felt no pain

  • damn... thats terrible.. one reason why you DONT cross the lines in the center?

  • Man, that sucks out loud! A good reminder about why speed limits are set. really too bad.

  • yes shows you how quick and easy shit can happen he wasn't doing anything too radical just a bit too hot a sad and brutal reminder for all bike riders.

  • when i saw this i was like omg omg omg is he ok omg dude come see this nd he was like hahaha tht was funny it looked real

  • why would you ride your bike into oncoming traffic??

  • @vares86

He was going faster than he could handle and he misjudged the amount he had to lean into the corner.

Watching it slowly at 0:06 to 0:07 you can see that he hasn't taken the corner right. Wasn't cutting into it enough.

  • tires are still good :]

  • This shows you shouldn't assume things on the road.. corners on the road are deadly. Couldn't see any braking at all. The road is not a race track. Motorcycles aren't as dangerous as people think it is. It's what people make of it. Great power comes great responsibility. It's alright to open the throttle up. but always know when you need to use the brake lever. R.I.P. Hope his mistake has taught all use motorcyclist a lesson so no one has to go through the same thing.

  • one of my closest mates has just bought a bike after years of debating he knows more than anyone how much i didnt want him to get one his brothers best mate died on a bike not very long ago r.i.p

    condolencias a familia...

  • У.М.Е.Р

  • Everyone who rides has underestimated a curve at one point in their life. Inexperience may have been a factor, but it's not the only possibility. Everyone with experience started out without experience. Remember, this guy died. If you want to post a stupid remark, post it on one of the videos of guys doing something stupid. Like a "stoppie' in traffic, or 200mph on a highway. Those guys deserve the dumb remarks.

  • Sad to see this, I hope it was quick & painless. I ride an '04 1200 C, and can say for sure that I've unintentionally crossed the yellow lines a few times. Especially when I was a new rider. I just hope he didn't suffer, my greatest fear is laying in the road knowing I'm gonna die, just waiting for it to happen.

  • Everyone crashes some people get back on, some don't and some can't. Please remember to ride safe.

  • has to be said that its a known fact the back of the pack is normaly the one to become fataly hurt because they are always giving chase to keep up. Obviously the guy was showing off for the on board cam......................its not the power of the bike its the turn of the wrist........i feel sorry for this guy and think that after the point is made the video should be removed..........if you want to race get to a track.

  • For all : when the road is only 2 lines ...just Slow down

    Rip..

  • rgwerg

  • gay description

  • @RomanianUser lol, you're right! 39 years old boy? seriously.

    sad event though.

  • u r an stupid motherfucker , somebody dies you take a picture and put it on the internet , you´re a damn asshole

  • Yep new riders never in front they cant judge correct corner entry speeds....

  • That is one disturbing scene, but we all need to see it nevertheless.

What we have been thought in training is that the experienced rider should be riding at the front, so the other one could follow his trail.

  • RIP. Looks like suicide from watching the clip but there's no way to find that out now. A bike malfunction?, maybe. Or lack of experience is also a possibility. I'm still getting a bike as soon as I have the money for it. Bottom line is if it's my time to go, I go.

  • @TheGerryjoy ide put it down to too much speed into the corner .. if you notice he started to pull away from the guy videoin which means he may have started to accelerate mid corner. Its best to brake before excell out .....if you also brake mid corner it levels the bike up so you go in a streight line...but nah this was definatly not suicide just a case of bad luck.

  • .... a perfect example of "TARGET FIXATION"......

...and going too fast for his skill level capabilities

....OR.... he intended to commit suicide because he didn't appear to try to correct his mistake

wow...the impression of his helmet spells instant death.......i would have kicked myself off the bike and become airborne because hitting bushes would only cause minor injuries......

    ......RIDE SAFE PEOPLE........

  • Wow I feel bad for the guy,the truck rider, and his friend taping this video that sucks. I'm going to get saftey lessons. I don't want that to be me. :-(........RIP

  • I just got my 1st bike... going this firday to a Safety Center Motorcycle Training class was $250.. now that I see this I'm happy I did it.... R.I.P.

  • what type of bike did you get?

  • :( ..... R.I.P.

  • wow. poor guy

  • This should be seen by everyone CONSIDERING riding a bike.

I think about it while riding my 1981 CBX 1000 often.

Not for the gore, but to stimulate a sense of the importance of riding safely.

    See how easily this happened?

    Ride safely all.

Your and others' lives depend upon it.

  • I am all with you

  • Couldn't agree more sunsetglen

In my experience as an instructor, no-one takes advanced training anymore because they THINK they know it all but there's no 'rewind-button' in Life

ONE mistake is all it takes & that's it (regardless of your experience or lack thereof)

PLEASE take some advanced tuition guys this year -you won't regret it! better to spend £/$200 on 10 advanced lessons than cheap mods: if your life's worth £/$200 then that's up to you

    Mine is not

    RIP

  • @nornironbloke The main point that is trying to be made here is that if you ride like a cunt not only are you putting yourself in danger but others around you. MotoGP circuit's have barriers, MotoX riders have hay bales and shit.. the dude in the video had a lorry.

    'Nuff said.

  • @nornironbloke Yeah, your a fuckin bellend... big talk behind your computer screen... grow up and stop making yourself look like such a prick.

  • @StartSelect1 and what you behind your sisters arse.

    pimply faced wee retard!

  • @learn2rideVIDEOS I could buy a load of rim tape and decals for $200

  • @learn2rideVIDEOS this has nothing to do with advanced training or the lack of it, he was simply too fast for the turn, nothing you need advanced training for, simply some feel for corners and some common sense

  • @MutsuKazuma i understand your point although, 'common sense isn't that common!' as the expression goes & what 'feels right' for some riders can be difficult to ascertain for others -as we all differ in terms of skill, learning, hours on the bike, natural ability, etc. Successful cornering is a technique that must be learned and practiced constantly- as for the speed element, yes, advanced training does cover that too. 'Slow in, fast out' as the expression goes. We're always learning mate ;-)

  • @learn2rideVIDEOS most riders these days, especially fools like the one in the video shouldn't even attempt slow in fast outs, they either risk a highsider cause they have zero throttle control, or shit like this might happen that they still get on the wrong lane, most traffic participants these days jsut have no feeling for their vehicles, be it cars or bikes

  • @MutsuKazuma so what can other viewers learn from this in your opinion please?

  • @learn2rideVIDEOS if you ride like an idiot you'll die one day regardless of how many professional training hours you had

  • @MutsuKazuma Thanks. How about a breakdown/ step-by-step 'how to' dealing with this specific hazard, EG: right-hand bends. 'Riding like an idiot' is not specific enough- after all, what's safe to one rider is dangerous to another in relative terms.

If somehow you were given the task to save this rider's Life knowing what happens next from the vid, then what specific training would you give this poor rider who died (RIP) in terms of observation/ information, position, speed, gear & acceleration?

  • @learn2rideVIDEOS how about not under estimating the turn ahead of you and only go fast when you have a clear road ahead of you ? if you need/want to take a turn fast start on the turn as slow as you can imagining that there is a dead dog or anything on that turn , rule is :if you cannot break fast enough from your line of visibility (from the time you see the threat to actually stoping) then you are going too fast , once you are into the turn and can safely adjust speed according to above rule

  • @venom400 Nicely put & thanks for the reply. As we say, 'Prepared to stop in the distance that you can see to be clear on your own side of the road.' (or in layman's terms, 'If you lose your view, lose your speed- or lose your Life.'

If you Google 'Riding with a 4MPH brain' you'll see some interesting info from the Sound Rider archive. (Reading The Road in the same archive is very useful too if anyone wants to learn how to avoid what happened to the rider in this video..)

    RIP Ride safe

  • @MutsuKazuma

So true. this guy was going way to fast and took that turn way too quickly. He shouldn't have been going so fast to begin with.

  • @togo8186 he dosent counter steer & he got froze when he saw the lorry(target fixation)...

  • @jienn83 let's be honest, he was too fast. counter steering would have brought a chance but i'm not 100% shure he wouldn't just lowside out with too much lean angle... tragic :(

  • @sunsetglen Well said, too many just hop on a bike and ride like idiots :/

  • @sunsetglen I've ridden big bikes fast for years and this is NOT the way I would ride. Their speeds were all up and down and he didn't enter the corner well - enter wide come out close - he did the opposite and as it tightened up he....ended up dead sadly ;-(

  • @sunsetglen ive only been riding for a year and a half, and only about 8 days on a sport bike(r1), I gotta say, I do not want to go out this way. If im going out I hope its in excess of 160mph

  • Does he acceralate before entering the corner? I do feel sorry for his family but his inexperience on a bike could have taken more lives than just his own. R.I.P

  • should of taken some track days first

  • Too bad for the truck and Driver

  • shit!! i think he was too inexperienced guy...or he wanted to kill himself...or he had the bike just two weeks and didnt know it at perfection...too sad to see that video.

now i see it again..and looks like he is bend in a wrong position over the bike..his ass is all over the seat..and that's wrong to bend too faster

    i agree... RIP

  • How fast are they going 90 km/h or 90mp/h. The curv dozeent look that hard to drive with 90km/h...R.I.P

  • i dont know how long was he riding, but i think he was pretty inexperienced! it looks like he entered the corner to fast and just couldn't stay on his lane, he was forced in front of the car, if u look carefully at one point he realaises that he wont be able to pas by the car and tries to go left, but had no time. R.I.P.

  • and it seems truck moved as well to the right

  • i think he went splat.

  • Wtf... Could happen to anyone... R.I.P.

  • horrible. I feel shit now

  • R.i.P.

  • (*) R.I.P :(

  • its sad to see a biker die but wtf did this guy think would happen running a race bike on the street like a bat out of hell just think if nascar started selling race ready cars you drive on the street and let a 16 year old kid have one.

  • every one saw this video and he is a rider he knows that could happen to me or you?every one said that he deserve this i hope the same for him. rip all the guys lost their lifes : (

  • RIP to the biker & family

something to think about for anyone watching?

compare the speeds of the camera bike with that of the lead bike: at the beginning, speed hits 150 (unsure whether its KMs or MPH, no matter) whereas upon entry, the camera bike is travelling around 90

it doesn't seem like the lead bike slowed at all -& i'm sure that that was a contributory factor (combined with entering the bend in the wrong position & tipping in before the view opened up)

    this could've been avoided

    RIP

  • That's messed...is that even allowed on youtube?

  • R.I.P :(

  • I'm a rider and I can tell...the poor guy didn't know the sentence "security with good trajectories". Look at 0.05 secs, he is leaning when he is in the middle of the road, that's why he went too wide next. He is riding sportly, so when you ride like that, you have to ride like in the track. The trajectories are: outside/inside, not staying in the middle. Poor guy...R.I.P

  • R.I.P.

  • BEM FEITO

  • RIP . bad timing ..

  • sad video and sad ending for the bloke.r,i.p.

  • Ok lets put it all together. Gauge reads 100 KPH, or 60mph, about right for this road on that bike. New unscrubbed-in tire hits paint stripe in the middle of the road slips a bit throwing off his line so he heads for the weeds thinking truck is going pass on his right. Unfortunately trucker, spooked by camera bike, not knowing where He's going, pulls right probably hoping 1st rider will pull back to his lane. Now it's to late for the 1st rider to respond.

    ACCIDENT!!!

  • Um ok... they had video cameras so you know they were out being stupid. I sure hope the TRUCK is OK.

  • omg...how can u talk like that? a father just lost his life...and ur asking if the truck is okay? ur such an incosiderate person man..thank god ur not my friend

  • I can talk like that because the man KILLED HIMSELF, pure and simple. A family man should not be so irresponsible. No sympathy for suicide.

  • This wasn't a suicide you ignoranus, it was an accident. You propably never even thought about that he accidentelly got on the wrong side of the road.

  • And this father could've just as easily killed someone else's father with his inconsiderate antics.

He got what he deserved. Better him than someone minding their own goddamn business.

  • He got what he deserved??

Hope you get in an accident so you get what you deserve!

R.i.p. all bikers who have died!

  • If i drive like a madman and wrap myself 'round a tree, then yes I got what I deserved.

  • We ride using vid cams so if some cager f***** us up we can prove that it wasn't our fault.

  • Damn, he just bought a new tire too...

  • lol this is a great example of understeer

  • i think just like fox 946

  • dead??

  • i think so mate

  • "dead?"

nah just taking a nap in the grass. he'll be alright

  • go fuck yourself prick

  • it was his own fault.. i feel sorry for his family. not for him.

  • holy shit

  • Damn, it hurts my eyes to see this. What a bad luck.

  • thats terrible... poor bloke

  • This looks bad.... I am too a biker and most of us can admit that we have overcooked a bend at some point.....

Reffering to a comment 'maybe if he had headed for the bushes'

hmmm ... Dont know about you guys... when your in a OH SHIT moment... the last thing you think of is a intelligent life saving thought... ive been there.... guess i was lucky .lol

  • It stinks watching this video and saying to yourself "Damn, this dude has no Idea that he is about to die in 8 seconds..."

  • thats why unexperienced riders an girls should stay home! sorry u had to go that way bro.....

  • Maybe if he had headed for the bushes...

  • Bad one. Bike versus truck never goes well. Fuck that makes you think.

  • if you pause the vid ath the 9 sec mark u see like a spirit blip leaving the screen by the biker i think that is what the guy is getting at

  • sorry but it's the sand...

  • This is the day to day ... and life

  • what the hell are you on about henry!! its a perfect example of what happends every single day!! you drive? well if you do i guess you've gone over the speed limit and yet seeing the consequences sickings you, stfu!!

  • @henrymarkstewart10 i guess to warn bikers like my self not to do stupid shit

  • at least it didnt hurt i guess.

  • R.I.P..

If the description is saying you see the guy's "soul" leave him when he crashes, I think that's his petrol tank rupturing...

  • RIP
