  • A group of lovely young ladies. If I could speak Cantonese / Mandarin Chinese as well as those young ladies speak English, I would be a happy man indeed. I wish them every success with their endeavour, and more power to them.

  • Keep singing for the Lord.

  • Ladies I am proud of you! Keep spreading the Gospel of Jesus!

  • god bless you girls. Continue praising God, and He will give you many many more reasons to smile!

  • Good stuff! You sisters keep up the good work! May our Lord Jesus Christ continue use you as His instruments for His kingdom! God bless you all!

  • I love diversity and anyone who is spreading the Gospel I would definitely support them

  • @TheQueenD86 I definitely agree. God doesn't focus on ethnicity. Whomever is willing to spread His gospel...He will be pleased. God bless you ladies and remember "only what you do for Christ will last." Love you with the love of the Lord.

  • I don't like it when Asian entertainers taking up American names just to break into the US market. Of course it gives them an easier identification especially when they choose names like Sharon and Judy but shouldn't we Americans take the effort to learn other languages and names other than Americanize it so we can recognize it?

  • @Peridotfellow

Sharon and Judy are very common names in the world in general, it's not just American.

Also, almost all Asians have English names in addition to their Chinese ones, and trust me, not all of them are entertainers.

I'm Asian myself so I know.

  • @FunnyAngel Hi FunnyAngel! Of course I do know the fact that American names are being used by people all over the world and not just by entertainers. But why? I just don't believe American names should be taken up just to adapt to westernization or for simplicity sake in the well known American form.

  • @FunnyAngel cont'd ^_^ Also, if Asians take the effort to pronounce names like Catherine, Barbara, Sebastian, or even Renee Zellweger then I think Americans should try to learn Asian names such as Apsara, Takehiko, or even Chan Kong-sang (Jackie Chan). Don't you agree? Oh, and I am also a fellow Asian...with an American name. ^_^ It was given to me at birth so I cannot help it! ha ha ha But my point remains the same because I feel names should be diverse as well as humankind.

  • @Peridotfellow

Those names don't even sound American. I'm Canadian and I have friends named Judy and Susan.

I agree that Americans should take the effort to learn other languages, but learning Chinese is very difficult, even for Chinese people.

Besides, Chinese is a high context society, so if one is not born into it, it's really hard to understand. Conversations carry implicit meanings, which are more important than the literal context.

  • @FunnyAngel LOL you crack me up! I see why you have "funny" in your name. Those names I have mentioned may have not originated here in the U.S. but they definitely are considered American over the years. But anyways, I do agree with you on the fact that learning Chinese is difficult because I have friends and family members who are learning it right now; however, it shouldn't be put to aside by those of other nationalities just because it is the most or one of the most difficult to learn.

  • goo you guys stay good for jesus love and god bless you guys

  • God I pray that you would bless these beautiful women of God and bless their music and guide them and help them to spread your gospel to all of China!! Colossians 1:15-17 "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by [fn] him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together."

  • Its said that one of the three wise men from east was chinese.

  • ...really? Prove it.

BTW, thanks to all the christains who voted my comment down...very Christ-like of you to support a persons freedom of speech.

  • It is just something I´ve heard. I cant prove anything. Some say they came from babylonia, persia, arabia, so I guess you have to make up your own mind:)

  • ...yeah right, my mind said you are lying. How did you get from "Chinese" to "Babylonian, Persian and Arabian"? They're not even the same people.

  • and.... to vote someones comment down, is not the same as to deny theire freedom of speech.

  • Hell yeah it is, when you judge a comment just because it doesn't fit your liking or personal point of views and then "challenge" it without any "facts"...then yes, you are denying people of their free speech.

  • are they from taiwan? because i know they could get killed for doing their jobs as christian singers... but God bless them!
