Great playing!

1:05 is an amazing melody. I love how at 1:29 the Cello takes on the melody, and the piano takes on the background music with the higher chords. This is a great technique!

I can see how the chords are borrowed from Shumann's sonata as mentioned below, but this piece is far superior than Shumann's 4th piano sonata, so I can forgive that.

I know several versions of this sonata but I´m totally speechlees and impressed with yours. I think you should upload the whole sonata without any cuts. Your cello rendition is great but those who are pianists know very well the incredible talent of this pianist because this sonata is just extremely difficult and she is just outstanding playing it musically and technically.

Haven´t you ever had a chance to record it on cd? I would buy it right away.....

Vous avez tout-à-fait raison : la partie de piano est très difficile. Il faut se souvenir qu'à l'origine, cette composition devait s'intituler "sonate pour piano et violoncelle", ce qui montre que Rachm. a donné une place prépondérante au piano. Mais le chant du violoncelle est sublime !
