a way way way easier way to do this but without the beads is to do a basic stribed bracelet, but only knot each string once instead of twice. it will automatically twist.

@xx23AllStar23xx For this type of bracelet with the loop at the top, you can secure it around your wrist by pushing the knot at the end of the bracelet through the loop. That way, you can remove it at the end of the day by just taking the knot out of the loop. It's kind of like you're buttoning and unbuttoning your bracelet. Hope this helps you out! (:

That yarn is pretty. I love purple.

I found this really awesome brand of yarn called Sugar'n Cream (Stripes) and it's white, purple and green varigated. They had a whole line of them with multiple colors and they are thin/tighter types of yarn which makes it good for bracelets.

Does the bead move on the bracelet if it doesn't have strings surrounding it like your first one?

@xlovexstory No. It might though if you use a bead with a really big hole, but the knots that you make before and after you thread on the bead will probably hold the bead in place.

@peacelovehope451 Basically, you have two options. You can either put the bead on the middle two strands and make a regular spiral knot and continue making your bracelet. Or, you can put the bead on all four strands and continue making the knots. It depends if you want those two outer strands to be showing or not.
