Now he is with his teammates... dangerous profession indeed. Very ballsy maneuvers with SMOKE - still it's just sad when the kids see a hero figure go away this way, he was there for the kids and what's not to love about that.

I cant believe this this is terrible i had the honor and pleasure to see all of the masters of disaster perform at once in south carolina Jimmy Franklin Bobby Younton and Jim Leroy with the jet trucks when i heard what happened to Jimmy and Bobby i was shocked now Jim too, My god these had to be the best pilots i had ever seen may they all rest in peace

I had a shock when I noticed his death by TV.Jim is my idol. Nobody flies like him. I love airplanes but the only thing I am yet is an airmodel enthusiast. When I saw the promotional video of Jim I quickly got a Pitts model to me...

...I made the first fly of my Pitts in july 28. I was trying to do some snaps rolls like Jim to teste my plane. When I arrived in home in this afternoon, I knew his death. It's so sad. Rest in peace, my friend. Your brazilian fan will miss you.
