  • BTW, Bruce Carter worked those drums over like Ali on a heavy bag!!!

    Rest in peace Mr. Carter

    Respect

  • the early Kenny, the funky Kenny, the talented Kenny. he knows it's cotton candy pop jazz but people love it and he loves it so don't answer the critics.

Kenny G shaped and molded a part of me growing up thru his music and I will be forever grateful!!!!

    Respect

  • anche qui in Italia, Kenny è fantastico!

  • he is playing a alto sax for this song.

  • dam where do i get free sheet music for this song for the tenor sax

  • is that a tenor hes playing i cant really tell from here?

  • yes it is, Bb, you can also play this song in the same key with the soprano sax

  • thanks man

  • you are WRONG ;)

  • it´s an alto saxophone, it´s in Eb

  • I'm so used to the "Duotones" version of this song, I didn't recognize it when Kenny started to play. But yeah, this is a great song. Not my personal fave, but great!

  • damn i have one of his live cds it fcking awesome love going home and sade

  • love the sax

  • What the "purists" can't admit is that this artist can run rings around the vast majority of jazz musicians and that soul comes from deep within and it represents all the shades of the creative rainbow.

  • this song is so damn hot, the album version pumps with so much bass and feeling you cant help dance your butt off to this beat its killer

  • people like taking the mick out of him cos he started a type of jazz that has become a gimic cos so many people copy him,

anyone know where to get sheet music for sade with the written solo??

  • Yes, i do always feel his songs.

  • One of my favorite Kenny G songs!

  • this isnt the original version of sade

he put several extra notes for the concert and theres a duet in the middle

  • i love kenny , good for write this song for Sade.

  • Feels like you're in heaven, good way to describe it Jackie. I love this piece

  • Awesome. I always enjoyed Kenny G's relaxing music.

  • kenny G is so good, don't understand why people critisize him )=(

  • As a fellow saxophone player, I can tell you why others critcize him. While I agree that most of the critcizim is too harsh, Kenny G does has his flaws as a sax player. But...we all do. If you want to know more, swing me a message.

  • well i do agree that flaws might be present but i can safely tell you that he is actually really good!being a sax player myself and it isn't easy.

  • Of course, but many saxophone players know there are PLENTY of people who can play as good or better than Kenny G (Heck my mom a die hard Kenny G fan listened to Gerald Albright and hasn't listened to much of Kenny G since :)). Kenny G stays in pentatonic land way too much...but hes got great control (especially altissimo) and sound and people like him...and hes rich...he is a pretty good player.

  • Gerald Albright's one of the best...

  • Amen =)

  • u know what i do the same thing to Jay-z im a jay-z basher be kenny g is nice dude there is jazz and there is smooth jazz hip hop and there is rap good music.

  • Smooth Jazz is not a genre. That's why sometimes you may see it as "Smooth Jazz". "Smooth Jazz" is reaaly instrumental Pop

  • yep i agree i always feel his songs all the way down to my heart

  • Me too ;-)

  • I feel the same

  • I love the music of Kenny G. It is soothing to the soul. Feels like you're in heaven. Love all his compositions.
