I wish there was something that identified the math formula that Benjamin Graham used and how you can use this formula to find the intrensic value of a company. Does anyone have that information? There was a formula on Wikapedia from Graham but it did not explain how to use it.
you can look up intrinsic value of brk on google. A guy has made a spread sheet - and you can see about 15 factors go into the evaluation and each factor can vary - so the value is an estimate, a range of value.
That was a good video with many excellent quotes and I do relate with his history (The Snowball). But Buffettology written by his ex daughter-in-law is an exceptional book for HOW he invests. I also saw that she wrote a book on how he analyzes financials for companies that I'm excited to get.

To abort at this stage means denying the fetus the potential to develop into a fully independent child. But if you consider denying potential life to the fetus murder, then you should also stand strongly against birth control and condoms, as these also deny life to a potential child.

The last time gold had a similar price development as now it crashed for 20 years and it took 25 years to get back to the start price. The amount of youtube videos recommending gold reminds me of the amount of videos recommending flipping houses before the crash.

you can look up intrinsic value of brk on google. A guy has made a spread sheet - and you can see about 15 factors go into the evaluation and each factor can vary - so the value is an estimate, a range of value.

According to Time Magazine, Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII during his days as Nizam, was reputed to be the richest man in the world, having a fortune estimated at $2 billion in the early 1940s. (Adjusted for inflation this would be $225 billion (in 2008 US dollars). So yes he was richer. But some of his money was inherited. Buffet is a self-made man.

I read that Abu Dhabi makes an extra $1 billion a day every time the price of a barrel of oil goes up by $2, so I don't see why their leaders don't have wealth in the trillions.

Thanks a lot for making this. I just took up investing, putting less than the used used I would otherwise be buying (not owning a car).
His sence of common sence appeals to me, I can't fault any of his business or personal (filantropist) decisions.
I hate following someone's lead, but I'll accept some good pointers from him.
At my low budget I want to beat his growth figures many times over, though. Index funds indeed. Somewhere this year it will be time to go long.
