harvin.. he can play running back and receiver and kill you at both... but its close, and Jackson has unreal speed... he never jukes in his returns he just turns and runs away from evrybody

Percy Harvin is a better receiver, D-Jax is just faster than most corners in the NFL. Hakeem Nicks is better then both of them anyway.

@youngj1921 Percy Harvin got 790 yards in 2009 with 6 TDs. In 2010, he got 868 yards with 5 TDs. DeSean in 2009 got 1,156 yards with 9 TDs, in 2010 he got 1,056 yards with 6 TDs. Hakeem Nicks got 790 yards in 2009 with 6 TDs and only 1,056 yards in 2010...Desean is better. Not opinion based but statistically.

@shuman90 DeSean Jackson is the #1 option for the Eagles (which is strange because Jeremy Maclin cought more passes). Percy Harvin is second to Sidney Rice at Minnesota. Hakeem Nicks had 79 catches compared to around 48 for D-Jax. DeSean had 6 more yards than Nicks. And Hakeem Nicks missed 3 games this season. Hakeem had 11 TDs compared to DeSean's 6. Hakeem Nicks is better.

Percy n D-Jack r 2 totally different players.. Percy can play RB, WR n can play the slot along with return both Kickoffs n punts.. d-Jack is only a Z WR which means he stretches the field and takes the top off of the secondary to open up the field for a slot, TE and X WR to do work. Djack is also the BEST punt returner in the league but Percy is more versatile. All in all D-Jack is clearly better at what he does.. id rather have reggie bush than percy Harvin... point, case. I win! go birds!!

I will comment on this one last time.... I am not knock Percy in any way. Dude is good, but he is not on the same level as Jackson. D-Jax is quicker, better route runner and has better hands. Percy is like a RB playing WR, because he is tough, and can break some tackles. There styles are different so it makes it hard to match them up, but D-Jax is more explosive, makes more plays and scares teams more. That makes him the better player.

It could just be the Eagles fan talking here, but Gotta say If I had choice, I'd take DeSean Jackson. The kid is unfreaking believable. Not only is he faster, but I gotta say that He's more of a threat in any kind of situation, Punt returns, Short curl routes, Deep ball, Slants, crossing routes. He has scored touchdowns on all of them. He's cocky, there is no lie, and they're each playing in a very tough division. I like em both, but I'd Take Jackson in a heart beat.
