May Allah bless dawah works for their efforts and all the good work they do. We must be careful tho not to put people down (like this sister) for things we know nothing about. I know when I put hijab on I had things thrown at me from moving cars, & death threats. It matters only what Allah thinks, my point is you never know what people have gone thru, we must all be careful and try not to embarrass our bros & sisters but to show them love and encouragement inshaallah as we would want done to us.
akhi if she denied the hijab is fard then you could of put this video up, but she knows shes doing wrong, so therefore you dont have a right to expose her, wa allahu alam
Well that wasn't very nice :( I don't think it was wrong of you to ask her, but I feel like there could have been a better way to go about it.
You know, in Islam, we have been told to respect other's differences and beliefs. That girl is just trying to do things at her own pace. And I get you probably weren't trying to corner her, but that's how it came off in the video.
@dawahworks Hahaha. Yeah, look at the dawah people. Calling a Muslim a Hindu. Yeah, nice dawah, Oh, did I forget to mention how you insulted a girl in public. Is this the way to do dawah?
You filthy hypocrite, the interviewers head insn't covered, and he is asking why the girl doesn't cover her head. LOL!
Hahaha. Yeah, look at the dawah people. Calling a Muslim a Hindu. Yeah, nice dawah, Oh, did I forget to mention how you insulted a girl in public. Is this the way to do dawah?
MISS AMERICAN , its not your choice not to wear it , being a good persone ,beside that u ahev to be a good muslim and to be a good muslims u have to follow islam , what Allah swt has ordered you and me , in the quran , so fear Allah and his punishment , and dont dress your self like a nonmuslim women , Allah a dignify you by islam so DONT disgrace you self , by not wearing the hijab, dont expose you self ina unvaluable way, you beauty is sacred to ur husbend
@dawahworks Same does not apply to him, you idiot. He can't tell you in private, can he. Besides, what you are doing and what notsoholyghost did is miles apart. LOL, nice try.
because this man, pretending to be a good muslim thinks he can do shit like that in public and put a girl to shame on the world wide web. Thats a very muslim thing to do, may Allah be please with him......NOT!
"Auzu billahi minesh-shaitan nirrajim", all of a sudden they stopped in their tracks and started to run in the opposite direction. My brother, Allah is our protection.
@noorp786 You sound closer to christianity than Islam. There is no verse that states as you say. However the Quran is as clear as day when it commands the khimar (head scarf) & jilbab (loose outer/over-garment). Perhaps you should learn Islam from its sources & not through rumor.
Also Christians use to cover there heads during Jesus's time plus the hijab started being put into practice a 100 years after the prophets death. In the Quran it does not give an order for women to wear the hijab, this has been interpreted by men and women through time. Women are free to choose, there should be no compulsion.
@noorp786 You dont have a clue. Stop following rumor & learn Islam. The Arabic is clear on the dress of believing women just as Quran clearly labels "deviants" those ignorants fail to judge by the Book & Sunnah but falsify matters by their own desires.
The Qur'an tells women to cover themselves, yes but the Qur'an explicitly states that "There is no compulsion in Islam" (Qur'an, 2:256). Whether I am going to hell or not is not for any of us to call, Allah knows best about that and all things. Islam is meant to make our lives easier, I do follow the Qur'an and the clear messages therein and I am not swayed by what so-called "scholars" have to say. I did learn Islam and still am, its the reason why I reverted in the first place. :)
judge a woman or criticize her because she not donned the hijab. Only God can judge and he is a just and merciful God, as long as your actions are good, and give to charity and pray your 5 obligatory prayers, Allah (swt) will open the gates of jannat for you. And as for a brother offering the girl protection....... Allah protects. I was walking down an alley late one night from work and this 2 guys were walking towards me, naturally being scared I recited .....cont
I agree with her...just because she does not wear a hijab does not make her an unholy woman. You wear the hijab on your own free will. Its not one of the 5 fards and its not written in the Quran that "Women have to wear Hijab", it states that women should cover their bosoms and dress modestly. I am a revert since 2009 and I pray 5 times a day but i do not wear the hijab but i dress modestly, I love Allah and the prophet and I keep my fasts but that does not give you the right to....cont
It's really inappropriate to show your muslim brother's or sister's missing practise. We are taught to hide one's lack and warn about this lack in private, not in public. May Allah make this sister ready to wear hijab soon inshaAllah.
guys the sister's who are wearing may god give them strength to continue but those who are not may Allah guide them to wear it , it is no that easy let's not be judgmental
A: Allah (swt) commands me to cover my awra so I don't reject it (And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment...(Surah Noor V.31)
@TheTheman45 What the heck is wrong with you, to speak in such way. Face the reality, there are issues which young among the ummah has..by saying "she should blow me" you have a much BIGGER problem than this that sister has. Shame on you..repent!!
Oh so she doesnt wear a hijab therefore "she should blow you"... disgusting faggot. So if you forget to pray Fajr I have the right to stick a 10 inch in your a**....FLAWED LOGIC
Stupid bastard its muslim men like you that make the Umma look bad, Educate yourself dumb f***
brother, if you think she's not right by not wearing hijab, mind that you're portraying a negative image about a person to public. i think it's sinful to do that. Advice we can do in privacy..
@dawahworks You should delete this video then, only God can judge any so who are we to judge, she shouldn't have to be in a position where everyone knows what she's feeling or why she is a good or bad muslim. Keep your sins and good deeds to yourself but don't show others.
Islam is the most pathologically narcissistic ideology that humans have ever invented.
It is self-obsessed to the point of total autism, and muslims seem to be unendurably humiliated and offended by the existence of anything other than islam itself.
Muslims are also offended to the point of blind rage even by the merest physical trace or relic of there ever having been anything, anywhere, other than islam.
What an idiot and those who say not wearing hijab is punishable by Hell Fire I say where is your proof from Quran and Sunnah? Remember the story our Messenger told: two Jew men, one outwardly very "good Muslim" and the other "going to Hell Muslim". The former said to the latter if he doesn't stop Allah most High will never forgive him. Allah forgave the latter and punished the former. Remember also the woman that selling sex was her job but had Iman and Allah forgave her. YOU people make me sick
@COEXISTization wat an idiot every sin is punishable but that doesn't mean hell 4 eternity, i think u should get ur head out of the clouds and follow ur religion and dont pick and choose Wat u like just so u can be more accepted by the west, hypocrite
I'm sorry, but this is humiliation of someone. She's unsure and lost and confused and probably even more so now. If I were this Muslim brother, I'd repent for my indignity.
I probably should have sent this as a video response but as a Muslimah and as a strong believer, I would rather type this out. Like my sister says it is better than plastering your face on youtube. Thanks for the video, it really got me thinking. I appreciate everything, and Eid-Aldha is just around the corner so Eid Mubarak and have a great day.
Another point I would love to bring up is that she knows there's consequences but what is sad to hear is that no one knows when Allah ta3ala takes away his creation. If it was mentioned not only in the Quran but also in the Ahadith, there is no question to ask and like she mentioned, there is no reason. You might be able to give a reason/excuse in life, but there is no reasoning or excuses in Day of Judgment.
That is what she is trying to make clear. I, masallah, started wearing the hijab when I was 10. My parents made me aware that when I turn 10 I will have to wear it. I felt proud and happy because others started asking me questions, and my Muslim friends, when they started wearing the hijab. They felt good about themselves. I don't agree with her when she says things were better before the hijab and all that. Things should still be okay, nothing matters, like she said, about what you wear.
Okay so I watched the video and well let's just say you were right and wrong about somethings. What you were right about is when you brought up that scenario. Some people like to do something without being told. I know it doesn't make sense but put it this way. Picture yourself in her place, if someone forced you to wear the hijab, while you are wearing it the whole time you niyyah, your intentions, wouldn't be for the sake of Allah. It would be because your parents forced you.
@ulookepatha He wasn't bullying. Bullying would be more of a force. He just made it clear to her that women are like a jewelry under lock and key. Imagine a tree, filled with apples. The rotten/junk ones, are always on the bottom. A man will always get the one closest to him, the one he can reach. Eventually some humble man will climb the tree to get that apple that is all the way on top. I don't find it bullying.
@ulookepatha It's not bullying the girl made her point and I hope she's happy she made her point also the guy is right in asking because he wants to know what women actually think about it and why they may not be wearing one and if they actually practice Islam. In this video you can see she's probably submitted to Allah and she might get bullied wearing the Hijab, who knows.
well ,ido not know about u guys but this is wrong to quesion her like that
and he gave her a good example and i think she is a good person because she is attached to her religion but he should not ask her like that because she was in a celebration for muslims people and i am completely with hajab and she aware of the benifit of hajab and thanks .....
I knw how it feels man i go to muslim countries half of the women dere dont even wear hijab, they got the whole hoosy mama looking like style, they have adopted the kafir western style but if they want to look like animals they can do as they please
This fool 'dawah' is some ghetto garbage who picked up Islam because it gives him a means to lord over women and feel like he has AUTHORITY!
1400 people have written telling him he's NOT behaving as an authentic Muslim but rather as a crude bully. It hasn't deterred him nor caused him to pause because it isn't what he's after.
He's after power. This pathetic man is getting attention, a position of authority & empowerment to demean a lovely woman well out of his league in the real world.
@dawahworks whats the meaning for coool for u guys u make me laugh non of u know shit about ur own religion why u inturding in others. just go have ur aparty and drink excess amount of liqure. when u die non of that is their for u hahahahah
@adarkblond WOW!!! wats up ur ass???? i dnt think his intention was to get her any way freak, i guess ur not a hijab wearing girl, u know muslim reverts know alot more than born muslims coz they study the religion from scratch unlike us that still carry the culture. and i hate wen people say 'its wats in the heart' in other words i can commit every type of sin but as long as i have a good heart then im good, a good muslim has faith in ALLAH!!! stop tryin 2 fit in coz you will never be accepted
Muslims in Western Societies such as myself face many hard ships when it comes to our religion. It goes for both men and women. Remember Islam is not only a religion but also way of life. Living in a society that do not follow Islamic laws let along believe in it is grim. Many Muslim I know went back to their homeland because they wanted to raise their kids in an islamic society and also to live by Islamic way of life. I think before I didnt understood why they resort to this but now I know.
Well brother if you judge your sister's worth by the fabrics she wears then then you are behaving no differently than those rappers who juggle the behinds of half naked women in their music videos. You two have something in common: you both think of your sisters as worthless as a fake piece of jewelery based on how they dress. I think there is a better way you could have maid your point. You deinitely could have left the silly fake jewelery real jewelery being touched easily thing out. Respect
@dawahworks brother I LOVE YOU and i LOVE YOUR VIDEOS it is muslim women that does not wear hijab and don't practice islam that give fuel to the islamophobes that say muslim women that wear hijab are " opressed and subjugated " and then these islamophobes say " but there are so many beautiful muslim girls that don't wear hijab why cant everyone be like them ? " i swear brother KEEP DOING what you are doing you know what i think u have inspired me and i am going to do the same thing here thank u!
@AlHannah20 The brother means well... but like most- His stance was agressive and he shudnt have picked on her. @dawahworks Many girls find it difficult to keep their hijab on, i have met many part time hijabis. YOU dont force them. They already went through that with their PARENTS. This girl is still a teen, shes at a rebellious stage.Did you hear her?she said she believes hijab is the right thing. She doesnt have the strentgh yet.But she might one day- Allah is the most merciful.Give her time.
@AlHannah20 it is women like that that are not even practicing islam that give bad names to muslim women who do actually practice islam it is because of these women that the islamophobes say that muslim women who where hijab are "oppressed&subjugated" so i DISAGREE with you kindly ;-) that these "muslim" women should be UNMASKED and show to the world that these women do NOT represent ISLAM and that these women are NOT muslim but rather kuffaar who are in self-denial ...
Astagfirallah! Are you comparing this beautiful sister to a piece of fake jewelery? Lay off brother! Mashallah Good thing she has a strong Islamic foundation becasue if she did not, or if she was a new muslim as I am, she may have been very traumatized ans turned off by your judgemental comments brother. Don't tell her she is nearly worthless without it, you should not point out someones "flaws" when it is more effective to urge them to do what is right.
why am I a muslim? well I looked at Christians , Jews, Buddhist, etc.. I find them all boring, and follow a concrete belief. then I looked at islam who has a prophet who kills, rapes, has sex with little children, sleeps with his daughter in law and his own aunt, raids caravans.steals material from Jews, Christians, Hindus and atheists, I mean whats not to like? its fun, on top of it you have the word muslim retard stamped on your forehead and you still can be proud, lol. you gotta love it lol
i think men should should wear a turban for at least one month day in and day out before asking women to do so. Is that fair or what? No excuses please.
Also when you say Allah doesn’t require Muslim women to wear Hijab that nullifies your religion meaning you are no longer Muslim because you are denying God’s word, and a part of his religion. If you don't ask God for forgiveness and you die in that state you will be judged as a non believer. I don't understand how you can deny something when it clearly says in the quran women must cover.
Personally I think if you don't wear Hijab you are somehow ashamed of your religion End of story. No ifs and buts about it. Because you don't want people to associate you with Islam because when u wear a hijab everyone knows you’re a Muslim and when u don’t know one knows what u r, I wear Hijab and I'm in high school yeah u get stares but who gives. I personally care more about the opinion of my creator than I do his creation Peace :)
@amomo2010 i think men should should wear a turban for at least one month day in and day out before asking women to do so. Is that fair or what? No excuses please.
Okay ppl, this girl was not belittled nor degraded. This bro was just making a point to her about the importance of hijab, just because she was shocked and flustered doesn't mean he degraded her, that just means she is ashamed to not wear the hijab and u can tell by her answers cuz she keeps stuttering & sometimes doesn’t make much sense. In my opinion that was kind of him for going out of his way to inform her when she clearly knows what she's doing is wrong by not wearing hijab. :) Peace
its people like him that make our muslim society be frowned upon i would have given him a much better answer than the girl but i admiire her tenacity- i dont wear a hijab becase i am comfortable in who i am without a scarf i am a good muslim never chasing guys i dress modestly keep my head down and am a good daughter so why do i need a hijab if i am already a good person- i dont need a piece of cloth to show i am a good muslim or better than anyone else
I think the video was fine. He was just doing dawah to the lady. It's not like he forced her or treated her to wear it. It's just a small debate between them and in the end the lady do whatever she wants.

its not hard wearing a hijab in america ..get over yourselves and stop being dramatic, its apart of islam and allah (swt) said for women to cover up for modesty. your not a good "muslima" if u dont wear one..thats just my opinion girls!
But you cant say your "not a good muslim if you do not wear hijab." Only Allah can judge people.
I Strongly believe in the hijab as you said, its a command from Allah(swt), but there are girls who wear hijab, dont pray, backbite, and they dont represnt their hijab correctly. And there are some girls who dont wear hijab yet they fast, pray, give chairty.
Hijab comes from the heart. When you do it because you have taqwa thats what counts.
@mnzz1234 yes i completely agree with you, i should take back wat i said about not being a good muslima bc u dont wear one , i just dont understand y do they make it such a big deal like its something so wrong and they dont want to get made fun of or they wanna fit in or w/e, but its true hijab does come from within and i dont believe u should wear it because its only apart of islam ,i think they should wear it from themselves to show a step in changing and becoming a better muslima.
Well im not sure if youve been wearing hijab all your life.
I havent, i just started wearing it recently, about 9 months.
And before it was like no matter what anyone said to me i just wasnt ready to wear it. Personally speaking i was afraid of what people would think, and the looks i would get from otehrs.
But Allhumdulilah, by the will of Allah(swt) hear i am, wearing hijab today.
And believe i would rather die before taking of my hijab.
@mnzz1234 alhamduallah sister im very proud that u chose to wear the hijab .may allah have mercy on u for putting it on..yes alhamduallah i have been wearing my hijab ever since i was 11 , i wasnt forced but i was taught the reasons y 2 wear it and alhamduallah i loved wearing it ever since then...
May Allah reward you for your intention but honestly, if I was her I'd probably start crying. Alhamdulilah I wear hijab but I just think doing dawah requires alot of wisdom. Like we can't just go up to a person and say "accept Islam or burn in hell!" We need to figure how the Prophet (PBUH) would do it, how Allah would like us to do Dawah. 2:263 "Kind words and the covering of faults are better..." And remember surah Al-Kafirun as well. May Allah gives us all the right guidance. Ameen
the guys approach was pretty harsh, especially having her filmed. Im sure she agreed to be on film but she sure as hell wasnt expecting that kinda rant. feel bad for her being put on the spot like that.
Is this Sister the new Miss Teen USA with her ramblings of an answer? She has obviously come under influence from the Kuffar, that's why she doesn't want to wear it, but she doesn't openly want to admit that. She's afraid of what the Kuffar [might] think of her when she wears it. In other words, she fears the Kuffar more than she fears Allah (swt). And the sad thing is that she's not alone - many more Sisters who grow up in the West reason like her. May Allah (swt) guide her in the right path.
For some women it is a Jihad to put the Hijab on, it is a personal struggle but its something we must do to make Allah happy. I am a revert to Islam and my Jihad is aclohol which i would consume at times prior to being Muslims, and its a huge struggle to get it completey out of my life in this social situation but inshallah we gather strength and never give up.
Oh c'mon I'm sure she wears appropriate coverings when whe performs her solat (prayers), and other times when she knows she's supposed to wear a hijab.... and I'm sure she wears decent clothes.
gee, people really argue about almost anything on youtube.
im sorry but a man questioning this young lady on why she doesnt wear hijab is extremely rude. I dont hear him asking her how many times she prays or if she fasts. If he is making dawah he is going about it in a demeaning, patronising fashion. Hijab is not about covering what is 'precious', to quote aminah assilmi, precious stones are cold and are only worth beinbg looked at. The purpose of hijab is to identify ourselves as muslim women and is a blessing from God, a promise and a warning.
This the problem with our generation. we like to look at others and say, hey she's a bad muslim, she doesn't wear a hijab. You shouldn't pump your chest and say i'm a better muslim then her. You didn't see her asking you why you don't have a full grown beard. A scarf won't do anything if you have no belief in Allah in your heart.. Do you think that the messenger of allah (pbuh) would approve of the video you made?. If you really cared you would give her good advice, not belittle her.
@dawahworks "who is this idiot you quoted" - wow someone's not exactly modest there... Interesting you should try and rectify others when you evidently should work on your own dignity and modesty..
@aminak48 the way the "scenario" was presented was extremely rude and intrusive (to give a woman the metaphor of being "permitted to use" for being visible is sexist and inciting violence, to say the least) - including the editing which evidently was meant to make her look stupid.
I wonder why the handsome hunks were not interrogated in the same way if they had dated a girl in the past, or if they would in the future.
Quotes of Thomas Jefferson on the artifice of religion:
What is it men cannot be made to believe! My opinion is that there would never have been an infidel, if there had never been a priest. The artificial structures they have built on the purest of all moral systems, for the purpose of deriving from it pence and power, revolts those who think for themselves, and who read in that system only what is really there.
I concur with you strictly in your opinion of the comparative merits of atheism and demonism, and really see nothing but the latter in the being worshiped by many who think themselves "religious".
They [the religious clergy] believe that any portion of power confided to me, will be exerted in opposition to their schemes. And they believe rightly; for I have sworn upon the altar of god, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.
I never submitted the whole system of my opinions to the creed of any party of men whatever in religion, in philosophy, in politics, or in anything else where I was capable of thinking for myself. Such an addiction is the last degradation of a free and moral agent.
Ignorance is preferable to error, and he is less remote from the truth who believes nothing than he who believes what is wrong.
Assalamualaikum. firstly i think ur efforts of da'wah should be praised. secondly, i think maybe ur approach could have been different when dealing with the 'missing hijab'. it came off like u were pressuring her, like she was put on the spot. I think better was to have a woman wearing a hijab to question becoz imho as she wud understand her situation better. but i know ur intentions were good, but sometimes as ppl of da'wah, we tend to scare ppl off, when instead we want to attract them.
Ignorance and powerlessness are the friends of 'muslims' like you. Your interest is in dominating not uplifting the human race and alleviating suffering. You USE Islam for your personal sense of empowerment over those disenfranchised by the "rules of your game" which is set up for you to win. This is much more about worldly matter and very little about the spirit of Islam and the very common story of religion in our world. You are mind controling and using ignorant people.
Of course you think this way. Can you please provide relevant examples from the Sunnah as to what would have been the correct approach. Key words... "from Sunnah".
@dawahworks - first of all why even approach her? and degrade her in front of cameras which is now seen by many people? especially when shes not wearing the hijab? you ask her why she wont wear and yet you post her on youtube. very sensible of you. the correct approach would be to gift her with a hijab, and like i said before its the parents that need to make her understand wearing the scarf not non-mehrams like yourself. at the end of the day they will be judged for their actions.
@mamamia786 it is women like that that are not even practicing islam that give bad names to muslim women who do actually practice islam it is because of these women that the islamophobes say that muslim women who where hijab are "oppressed&subjugated" so i DISAGREE with you kindly ;-) that these "muslim" women should be UNMASKED and show to the world that these women do NOT represent ISLAM and that these women are NOT muslim but rather kuffaar who are in self-denial ...
@dawahworks u need to approach this topic in a more sensitive manner, i am a muslim and a hijabi and questioning a girl like that is not right at all, its up to her parents to make her understand the importance not a non mehram like yourself.
isn't it a bit presumptuous of you to assume that the sole reason this man accepted islam was for his own empowerment via the subjugation of others. if that were true, he wouldn't have accepted islam in the first place since a conversion to islam entails subjugation to God. so like the girl in the vid, the guy too has to maintain a strict regiment, fasting 1 month, praying 5 times/day etc are not easy...and if u think the rules favor men, u dont have to accept..there's no compulsion in religion
It's really sad to see such a simpleton acting in an advisory capacity. I'm not surprised you have a hard time following 'big words' and concepts. Your mindset is from the dark ages and your perception of the role of women in society is simple enslavement.
Put the role of a muslim woman on a man.... ask him to wear full burka or hijab and then listen to his feelings of being helpless, hopeless and simply less.
"adarkblond" - wearing a hijab is not about self-enslavement or living in the dark ages or being supressed in anyway, shape or form; though I can understand that optically it is not an appealing concept. In Islam, women are supposed to dress modestly and wearing a hijab extends its way towards this concept. Equally, men are supposed to lower their gaze when they come across a woman, not from their immediate family.
"dawahworks" is correct in saying that we are not supposed to choose what we like and what we do not- one can either accept or reject as a whole. That said, none of us are perfect beings and each one of us have our faults and conceptions which do not align with Islam. May Allah guide help us all.
There is no insult directed to anyone here. Whether you agree to wear a hijab or not is something between you and Allah and no one else. Admittedly the brother in the video was pressing the girl for something which she was clearly not comfortable about. Broadly speaking, we can only preach and leave it to Allah to give "hidaya" to that individual.
It is between an individual & Allah (swt) in kufr societies (which covers every corner of the globe today). But if Muslims actually practiced Islam as a DEEN, then we would see that its between Allah (swt), the individual, & the authority of the Islamic State... What a wonderful world it would be.
If you see something wrong stop it with ur hand. If you cannot do that then stop it with ur voice, if you cannot do that then hate it within your heart. And there is no faith pass that.
This kind of madness only becomes powerful by manipulating the ignorant.
No thinking person would engage in the insanity of self negation & virtual imprisonment by placing a sheet over their person. Participating in self-enslavement only happens because women have been utterly disabled & helpless. Give them an education and a means of self sufficiency and this disgusting practice will die... with Gods help. Only the least worthy type of man that wants a woman in this position.
I find it frightening, even horrifying that such an ignorant fool could be in any type of position of "authority" much less as a "spiritual" guide. You are obviously barely educated and only able to parrot works from a centuries old book. Your interpretations are lacking in sophistication and certainly need to be adjusted in step with time as life does move forward.
But then isn't that what your brand of false Islam relies upon to dominate and mind control those you prey upon.

@noorp786 You sound closer to christianity than Islam. There is no verse that states as you say. However the Quran is as clear as day when it commands the khimar (head scarf) & jilbab (loose outer/over-garment). Perhaps you should learn Islam from its sources & not through rumor.

@dawahworks
oooh...harsh! Hey I have love for the Christians, they are just misled!
noorp786 6 months ago
@dawahworks
Also Christians use to cover there heads during Jesus's time plus the hijab started being put into practice a 100 years after the prophets death. In the Quran it does not give an order for women to wear the hijab, this has been interpreted by men and women through time. Women are free to choose, there should be no compulsion.
noorp786 6 months ago
@noorp786 You dont have a clue. Stop following rumor & learn Islam. The Arabic is clear on the dress of believing women just as Quran clearly labels "deviants" those ignorants fail to judge by the Book & Sunnah but falsify matters by their own desires.
dawahworks 6 months ago
@dawahworks

noorp786 6 months ago 2

Islam is the most pathologically narcissistic ideology that humans have ever invented.
It is self-obsessed to the point of total autism, and muslims seem to be unendurably humiliated and offended by the existence of anything other than islam itself.
Muslims are also offended to the point of blind rage even by the merest physical trace or relic of there ever having been anything, anywhere, other than islam.

i have a question, if a woman wearing a hijab is more valuable than a normal woman, shouldnt man wear it too in order to be more "valuable"?
Another question would be, is a womans willingness to show her hair the first and most important thing we should value in a woman?

@Nawidyeah
Year 3 is hot, but its a dry heat.
Yes a covered woman if more valuable than an uncovered one.
Even you kafirs have a saying, "The kind you dont take home to mother."

Also, either hijab is Fard (obligation) or it is not. Hint: It is Fard.

Hijabighurl 1 year ago
Another point I would love to bring up is that she knows there's consequences but what is sad to hear is that no one knows when Allah ta3ala takes away his creation. If it was mentioned not only in the Quran but also in the Ahadith, there is no question to ask and like she mentioned, there is no reason. You might be able to give a reason/excuse in life, but there is no reasoning or excuses in Day of Judgment.
Hijabighurl 1 year ago
That is what she is trying to make clear. I, masallah, started wearing the hijab when I was 10. My parents made me aware that when I turn 10 I will have to wear it. I felt proud and happy because others started asking me questions, and my Muslim friends, when they started wearing the hijab. They felt good about themselves. I don't agree with her when she says things were better before the hijab and all that. Things should still be okay, nothing matters, like she said, about what you wear.
Hijabighurl 1 year ago
Okay so I watched the video and well let's just say you were right and wrong about somethings. What you were right about is when you brought up that scenario. Some people like to do something without being told. I know it doesn't make sense but put it this way. Picture yourself in her place, if someone forced you to wear the hijab, while you are wearing it the whole time you niyyah, your intentions, wouldn't be for the sake of Allah. It would be because your parents forced you.
Hijabighurl 1 year ago

ulookepatha 1 year ago 12
@ulookepatha He wasn't bullying. Bullying would be more of a force. He just made it clear to her that women are like a jewelry under lock and key. Imagine a tree, filled with apples. The rotten/junk ones, are always on the bottom. A man will always get the one closest to him, the one he can reach. Eventually some humble man will climb the tree to get that apple that is all the way on top. I don't find it bullying.
Hijabighurl 1 year ago
@ulookepatha It's not bullying the girl made her point and I hope she's happy she made her point also the guy is right in asking because he wants to know what women actually think about it and why they may not be wearing one and if they actually practice Islam. In this video you can see she's probably submitted to Allah and she might get bullied wearing the Hijab, who knows.

Okay ppl, this girl was not belittled nor degraded. This bro was just making a point to her about the importance of hijab, just because she was shocked and flustered doesn't mean he degraded her, that just means she is ashamed to not wear the hijab and u can tell by her answers cuz she keeps stuttering & sometimes doesn’t make much sense. its not hard wearing a hijab in america ..get over yourselves and stop being dramatic, its apart of islam and allah (swt) said for women to cover up for modesty. your not a good "muslima" if u dont wear one..thats just my opinion girls!

@stopreadingthisok
I agree with you for the most part.

Ameen

What i don't understand is why do u call those who don't agree with your video Christias?? and Gays??
You call yourself Muslim and the ghastly word 'GAY' slips so easily from your tongue ...this word has no basis in ISLAM
Your ignorance and intolerance is frankly sad. As muslim revert i pity you the path you have taken.

Just take it easy on here :)

im sorry but a man questioning this young lady on why she doesnt wear hijab is extremely rude.

Sooo... u oppose what Allah (swt) has commanded? Or do u jus not care? & who is this idiot u quoted??

@dawahworks

@dawahworks Why is he then not asking the guys if they respect their hijab (meaning if they lower the gaze when they see women)?
dinavienna 1 year ago
@dawahworks "who is this idiot you quoted" - wow someone's not exactly modest there... Interesting you should try and rectify others when you evidently should work on your own dignity and modesty..
dinavienna 1 year ago
@aminak48 the way the "scenario" was presented was extremely rude and intrusive (to give a woman the metaphor of being "permitted to use" for being visible is sexist and inciting violence, to say the least) - including the editing which evidently was meant to make her look stupid.
I wonder why the handsome hunks were not interrogated in the same way if they had dated a girl in the past, or if they would in the future.

Quotes of Thomas Jefferson on the artifice of religion:
What is it men cannot be made to believe! My opinion is that there would never have been an infidel, if there had never been a priest. The artificial structures they have built on the purest of all moral systems, for the purpose of deriving from it pence and power, revolts those who think for themselves, and who read in that system only what is really there.
adarkblond 1 year ago
I concur with you strictly in your opinion of the comparative merits of atheism and demonism, and really see nothing but the latter in the being worshiped by many who think themselves "religious".
They [the religious clergy] believe that any portion of power confided to me, will be exerted in opposition to their schemes. And they believe rightly; for I have sworn upon the altar of god, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.

Thomas Jefferson on religion

Wow! Really? If I embraced Islam only to subjugate women... why didnt I just follow your way so that I could be totally gay???
dawahworks 1 year ago
Wow good comeback genius! I'm impressed with your teachings, thank allah we have thinkers like you to tell us how to live life.
BTW, I think you probably are "totally gay" moron. So why don't you just sit on this ^ and spin loser... enjoy!
adarkblond 1 year ago
@dawahworks you are sooo rude this is not what islam is about, your undermining people, they are just giving you their opinion
would the prophet speak like this to poeple? i dont think so, follow the sunnah!!
and you asking the girl this question about hijab might have just scared her more into not wearing it at all!
mamamia786 1 year ago 2
@mamamia786
Of course you think this way. Can you please provide relevant examples from the Sunnah as to what would have been the correct approach. Key words... "from Sunnah".
dawahworks 1 year ago
@dawahworks - first of all why even approach her? and degrade her in front of cameras which is now seen by many people? especially when shes not wearing the hijab? you ask her why she wont wear and yet you post her on youtube. very sensible of you. the correct approach would be to gift her with a hijab, and like i said before its the parents that need to make her understand wearing the scarf not non-mehrams like yourself. at the end of the day they will be judged for their actions.
god bless x

@mamamia786 it is women like that that are not even practicing islam that give bad names to muslim women who do actually practice islam it is because of these women that the islamophobes say that muslim women who where hijab are "oppressed&subjugated" so i DISAGREE with you kindly ;-) that these "muslim" women should be UNMASKED and show to the world that these women do NOT represent ISLAM and that these women are NOT muslim but rather kuffaar who are in self-denial ...
TurkishMujahid 1 year ago
@dawahworks u need to approach this topic in a more sensitive manner, i am a muslim and a hijabi and questioning a girl like that is not right at all, its up to her parents to make her understand the importance not a non mehram like yourself.
mamamia786 1 year ago
isn't it a bit presumptuous of you to assume that the sole reason this man accepted islam was for his own empowerment via the subjugation of others. if that were true, he wouldn't have accepted islam in the first place since a conversion to islam entails subjugation to God. so like the girl in the vid, the guy too has to maintain a strict regiment, fasting 1 month, praying 5 times/day etc are not easy...and if u think the rules favor men, u dont have to accept..there's no compulsion in religion
nafsullawwama 1 year ago
It's really sad to see such a simpleton acting in an advisory capacity. I'm not surprised you have a hard time following 'big words' and concepts. Your mindset is from the dark ages and your perception of the role of women in society is simple enslavement.
Put the role of a muslim woman on a man.... ask him to wear full burka or hijab and then listen to his feelings of being helpless, hopeless and simply less.
adarkblond 1 year ago
For me, personally, wearing a hijab is not only commendable but makes a statement about that individual's resolve to go against the norm.
kashmusi 2 years ago
Why is WRONG accepted as "the norm"?
dawahworks 2 years ago
"adarkblond" - wearing a hijab is not about self-enslavement or living in the dark ages or being supressed in anyway, shape or form; though I can understand that optically it is not an appealing concept. In Islam, women are supposed to dress modestly and wearing a hijab extends its way towards this concept. Equally, men are supposed to lower their gaze when they come across a woman, not from their immediate family.
kashmusi 2 years ago
"dawahworks" is correct in saying that we are not supposed to choose what we like and what we do not- one can either accept or reject as a whole. That said, none of us are perfect beings and each one of us have our faults and conceptions which do not align with Islam. May Allah guide help us all.
kashmusi 2 years ago
There is no insult directed to anyone here. Whether you agree to wear a hijab or not is something between you and Allah and no one else. Admittedly the brother in the video was pressing the girl for something which she was clearly not comfortable about. Broadly speaking, we can only preach and leave it to Allah to give "hidaya" to that individual.
kashmusi 2 years ago
It is between an individual & Allah (swt) in kufr societies (which covers every corner of the globe today). But if Muslims actually practiced Islam as a DEEN, then we would see that its between Allah (swt), the individual, & the authority of the Islamic State... What a wonderful world it would be.
dawahworks 2 years ago
If you see something wrong stop it with ur hand. If you cannot do that then stop it with ur voice, if you cannot do that then hate it within your heart. And there is no faith pass that.
desiboyh 2 years ago 2
This kind of madness only becomes powerful by manipulating the ignorant.
No thinking person would engage in the insanity of self negation & virtual imprisonment by placing a sheet over their person. Participating in self-enslavement only happens because women have been utterly disabled & helpless. Give them an education and a means of self sufficiency and this disgusting practice will die... with Gods help. Only the least worthy type of man that wants a woman in this position.
adarkblond 2 years ago
Wow! How did you put all the big words together & still manage to say NOTHING?
dawahworks 2 years ago
TO "JUS SAYIN"...
