I recently turned Vegan and I feel like I'm saving my life! I also would like to tell folks that Veggie Slice and Tofurkey are NO GOOD, and might turn people off from eating Vegan. Just let the old way go, and get into the new. You don't have to slow cook beans and rice every day, they have instant brown rice and canned beans. Black beans by the way make wonderful refried beans and that way you're not eating lard. Also get used to reading things cause you will learn what you can and can't eat.
From what i read vitamin k2 and vitamin d3 play a huge role in bone health. they are two things pretty much absent from a vegan diet. I am not trying to trick you out here i am interested to find this answer. How do vegans not get into serious issue with lack of vitamin D3 and K3, d3 i can understand if you live in a warm climate with lots of sun but lots of us don't. The only vegan K2 i know of is from Natto and im sure not many vegans are eating that.

it shows that even normal meat, dairy, eggs based diet is deficient in vitamin D(3)
B12 and vit D is not a vegan problem it is problem of everyone ! 40% of Americans are b12 deficient yet i guess america has not such big rates of vegans :-)
