@jubokusa While the lack of meaningful sizes helps, and the fact he gets a different seishin set when using Bonta-kun , Lambda Driver's damage aspect got nerfed pretty hard. Doesn't help that his base power is pretty low too. He still has all his silly defensive abilities from J though.

Me? Honestly, I go for the Black Selena, because of it's distortion field; it reduces damage. But there's only one risk; Arbalest's Lambda Driver, giving it a huge increase in offense, and probably, defense... ^^

Lambda Drive activates when Sousuke's morale reaches 120. When you get the Arbalest for the first time it can't activate that ability. You will get it sooner in the game though. But when you're in the middle of the game he loses Lambda drive. Then he gets it back later.

Amazingly the Albatross actually has more than one death kill scene, I remember it had nothing in SRW J XD. Anyway, Im surprised no ones noticed that the ARX is in the air in all of these fights...XD its a ground-type by nature so Im wondering if you used an S-type equip item or maxed out his terranial stats....or just equipped him with an air type engine...XD which is still weird...

Hey, what is the requirement to activate the Lambda Driver? For most of the game, just killing/attacking enemies to bring up Sousuke's will was enough. But I'm late in the game now, and even after capping his Will to 150 in battles (it won't go any higher), Lambda Driver still won't activate. Is there something I'm missing?

Plot. In the second half Sousuke is being stupid so he can't activate the Lambda driver. Just keep playing.

This series really does waste a ton of potential in that regard, doesn't it.

This game also needed a combo involving Nadesico Gai and Shin Getter 1. Hell, between all of the characters in the game NAMED Gai. I mean, they don't even bother with obvious ones like Blade and Orgun (even though the former has like, SIX THOUSAND combination attacks already).

At least there are some cross-series combination attacks in the Another Century's Episode series.
