Oh, friend, I adore you for this. What a splendid young man you have there, and how blessed he is to have such a good good man for a father. Thank you for this insightful, beautiful piece.
@sonofwalt Thank you, sir. That's very kind and gracious of you, and hugely appreciated. As I always say to my son: I just do my best. Nothing much more you can say. Thanks again :)
Another excellent bit of perception. When people ask me what my religion is, I reply - Pantheist. My ear is not as refined as yours to the resounding rhymes abounding, but I'm sure everything in the Universe has got Soul.
As time passes the Lad will find his gift. It would be a great burden for him to need to approach your prodigious wit, vision and ear. You are a rare & truly gifted poet.
@TwainsBlues Hi, TB. I always enjoy hearing from you, your comments and knowing that you're still around and well. For myself, I believe in a notion of God but without following any religion. As for my son, the best gift I can help him to develop is a focus on who he wants to be and not what he wants to be. Focus on the self and everything else will take care of itself, I believe. I hope I'm right. Keep well, sir :)
I absolutely agree. Keep it inside of you, good way to declaim.
