I don't read reviews prior to buying games. I just play the demos and then decide if I like the looks of the game enough to buy.

I got Kane an Lynch cause I liked the idea of mass urban chaos. I also like gun shooting games. I wouldn't give it an 11 out of 10 but I did enjoy it.

LOL! To be honest, I think Gamespot's move wasn't the brightest, though I also think his review was far too harsh as well. I have the PC version, and maybe the problems aren't as manifest on there as the XBox version, but I didnt see half the problems he talked about... and I did think Kane was the cool anti-hero type.

Of course, who trusts gaming mags/websites anymore? I trust Ctrl-Alt-Del, Penny Arcade, and word of mouth. That's about it.
