    regards john

  • This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life. I wish if time had stopped!

  • A stunning locomotive given its head by a Stanier man, superb.

  • On that line - the best !

  • That aint craig Stinchcombe thats neil wood, the fireman

  • Well spotted. And apologies to Neil.

  • Great footage,I saw 46115 approaching Long Preston with the support coaches and was on the station at Hellifield, but didn't have time to get further up the line. This certainly makes up for it, cheers.

  • Thanks for that. A great engine performing well.

  • I'm sure I've seen that driver before.

  • Sorry it's taken a while to check, but we think the Driver was Bill Andrew and the Fireman Craig Stinchcombe

  • Ecellent video of a magnificent machine.thanks..5*

  • Thanks for that. It is the Class for me. How I would have loved to see a parallel boiler Scot powering up the S&C

  • Who knows what the future brings..just keep the dream.

  • @robmasterman Yes let's. The crowd at Helifield is thinning as is the hair.

  • Evan if there is never another paralell boiler scot then you may see something similar. The new LMS patriot "the unknown warrior will have a paralell boiler.

  • Lovely film, well done, what a great engine. I particularly like the beginning.

  • Thanks. I think growing up near the Leeds-Carlisle line does it for me. There is nothing like a Scot.
