ive just been using weighted hooks to catch perch, they dont seem to like tear drops or jig heads, jack hooks have been working fine though, if anyone lives in bay city the boat launch behind the GM plant you can slay perch right in the morning in the little bay , you dont have to go out that far to get em

i was just dropping my line in the water and was getting them, use minnows, you will sometimes catch small walleye too
