A truly excellent example. Let's hope the engine is OK after the recent floods.

Our family also has a 6HR. Never restored, been in working condition since it was built in the 1930's. Anyone know where to get a manual for one?

Here in Pakistan, there are still hundreds on the rustons being used. They are referred as Kala (black) engine. I can send u a manual if u want to

It turns out we have a 6XHR, an uprated version of the 6HR. I was able to get a manual from Ray Hooley in England. Thanks for offering to send one.
