Of two of our dales (we've had 6).. Jennie loved water and would immerse herself in the smallest of ponds... but she loved to swim. Her brother Jordan would look at her as if to say, 'I don't think that's a safe thing to do Jennie.' He would fall in to a creek while watching Jennie and while he didn't particularly enjoy the experience he was a good strong swimmer.
I LOVE AIREDALES they are amazing dogs.. what i dont like is the cruel way you are forcing it to swim when it really doesnt want to!!! .. nice dog though :)
@charlianni I know what you mean. She wanted to swim toward me and the trainer was trying to make her swim an extra lap. Nevertheless, you can notice her progress by the end of the video.
I do not think it was cruel. Believe me I'll never do anything to harm her.

My airedale used to be afraid of water like streams until he fell in.

My Airedale can't swim too :) He likes only stay in the water and drink it. But if he must swim, he will do it, but near so funny like yours :)
