this is beautiful! made me cry, i would not know what to do if i had to leave my horse, unfortunetly i do not own a horse. but im in a 5h-4h so i work with horses and my best buddy is Ziggy a arabian quarter horse mix he is blind in one eye and i love him, i would not know what to do with out him.

aww thank you! Ziggy sounds like a real sweetheart. I guess the most we can do when we leave our horses is to remain strong because there's nothing we can do about it. I hope you and Ziggy stay together for a long time. :)

I love Rosie so much. Words just can't express how I feel about her. She's gotten me out of many sticky spots in the past, all because of her honesty, trust, and love. She may be stubborn, lazy, moody, mare-ish, and grumpy half the time, but there's no horse out there that can replace her.

This is so beautiful and cute! Love the part where you got the picture of Rosie wrapped as a present :) Thats a unique way of getting your horse as a present. NEVER would have thought of that. It was pretty smart of your parents :P

thanks! i thought that it was really creative too. There were also some brushes and a leather halter in the box, and the photo was at the bottom. They told us to dig through it and we found Rosie! :D

Yeah, I understand what you mean... I'm lucky I still have Rosie because of that. It's also another reason why I don't take lessons on another horse. But keep your chin up! A positive attitude makes all the difference in the world. :)

Yeah, me and Rosie have been through a lot together. I don't think I'll ever trust another horse like I trust her... :) She actually helped me get over my fear of riding too (I quit for a year because I had a very bad fall). She quickly fixed that though!
