Hi Bob , this cage is a show cage especially for showing Rollers. The birds are only kept in these cages for a short while, this practice is how we get the birds to sing on command infront of the Judge at shows ! and as you can see the bird is singing away with no fear or stress.

Mine used to sing a lot but after his moult,he wouldn't anymore.I can't figure out why.I feed him lots of protein rich foods but to no avail.
