    Epic! XD

  • Is this gay porno?

  • They've remade it, rebooted it, re envisioned it, but nothing beats the original five films produced by Arthur Jacobs. Real Deal Sci-Fi classics.

  • to think that rod serling, creator of "the twilight zone," wrote about 70 different screenplays for "planet of the apes" in 1966. at least bits and pieces of serling's story made it to the final version. hooray!

  • —He can talk, he can talk, he can talk

    —I can siiiiiing!!!

    ..wait, wrong one

  • I thought Michael Jackson was dead!

  • somewhere out there, theres something better than man, there has to be.

  • planet of the niggers

  • @locosbarbas Scary to fathom, isn't it?

  • @locosbarbas offended. apes are smarter

  • the one last summer was good, but not as good as this one

  • like this if hear lisps

  • The Tim Burton "remake" is garbage! Watch the original!

  • Dr Zauis Dr Zauis Ohhh Dr Zaius

  • That was way ahead of its times!!! Can't believe that was the 60's...

  • "Get your stinking paws off me-- YOU DAMN DIRTY APE!"

  • @DwightKoh93 NOOO!

  • @DwightKoh93 NOOO!!!!!

  • lol... it's not that different... I always thought the apes were the smarter species anyway..

  • YOU MANIACS! YOU BLEW IT UP! DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!!!

  • I want to watch this so badly but I can't! You see... the one and only version I have ever known (from childhood) is... Planet of the Apes... the Tim Burton version! Yes. I know-I know it's crap but I can't start on good quality and go back to crap classics; it doesn't work that way in my teen mind! It cannot be done! ;~;

  • Humans are nicer to apes than apes to humans... Im gona stop being so nice to apes... welet them have their own habitat.. we let them in our homes... drink with them chill with themm.. humans are so nice.. apes suckssssssssssss.. No more mr. nice-guy-to-apes... from now on im gona treat them like monkeys..

  • @gustaverds its a movie dumbass. Apes wouldn't treat people like this, and if they did we already tear down their homes and use them for testing medicine. Were not nice at all.

  • @OneLittleWagtail

What are you talking about, apes get so much welfare today and if you offend one they send you to prison for "racism".

  • i really fell sorry for people bak then not becase of the story line im sure that was great just the fact that the costumes are terrible ever heard of animation 1968

  • wouldn't the apes have been wiped out in a nuclear war?

  • oh my god. i saw this movie last year and i never knew what it was called. :D

  • I didn't came here for the new movie. I watched the original film after they did a remake on Planet of the Apes, 2001 version.

  • Much better flick and sets. Amazing make-up...CGI apes are not as good.

  • 2 words Ape Porn.

  • i like how the all of the apes eyes are green

  • like this if you like the first one

  • Comment removed

  • NoOoOOOOOoooooo!!!!!!!!!

  • is ceaser in this movie

  • @jhak1341 I hope so because ceaser is such a beast lol

  • @sanders21haha i know

  • @jhak1341 Caesar is the leader of the apes in this film.

  • tom felton got to say all the original lines :) "its a madhouse!" and "get your stinkin paws off me you damn dirty ape!"

  • You guys should check out the new movie, "Rise of the planet of the apes". It's easy to follow, and it has a deeper, more subtle message beneath the script. Excellent stuff. If you've got the money; Go to the cinema, get yourself a snack box and watch this :D

  • @GeekStinkBreath21 seen in twice already

  • im here because of the new movie

  • My dad and I were the only ones in the theater (Showing Rise of the planet of the apes) who got all of the references to the previous movies, including this one. What is the world coming to? It's a mad house!

  • It's a madhouse!!! x3

  • DAMN YOU CAESER!!! lol

  • WAY better than ANY of the remakes by far.

  • @Matumbay . . . . .there has been one remake, and one movie that could if viewed properly function as a prequal to both the original movie and tim burtons remake

Rise was a very clever and very good movie, but that doesnt mean it was better than the original

But so far it is the only film to have truely honored the original!

and the only film I have seen in the last decade taht used computer generated imagery to its full potential

  • @Ralokone i saw too. i wasn't to impressed with it. quite simply because it was to predictable... well atleast in my opinion.

  • @Matumbay why is that a bad thing? Not every movie has too be a bucket of surprises and plot twists

would it have been better if caesar turned out to be the chimp from krypton midway through the movie? How does it change thigns to have plot twists

    ALSO

I am willing to bet you saw the originals, and rise was incredibly true to the originals

  • @Ralokone well there should be at least some creativity in the plot, or else why would we see new movies to begin with? No movie is completely original because every plot has been used, but that isn't a justifiable excuse for a movie to be completely predictable either. All im saying is that movies these days lack originality.

  • No. I am here because i love these original films. absolutely brilliant. Just can't believe the budgets for each sequel was less than the previous one. Crazy

  • Planet of the Apes reference books can be found on Amazon. They include "Timeline of the Planet of the Apes: The Definitive Unauthorized Chronology" and "From Aldo to Zira: Lexicon of the Planet of the Apes-The Comprehensive Unauthorized Encyclopedia."

  • I used to watch this as a kid with my father---LOVED it!!!

  • so this isnt a joke?

  • look how realistic those apes are!

  • The 2011s movie can make a sequel based on this movie where monkeys will tread humans as the less superior species and that ugly monkey will be the dictator.

  • @MyTubeVersion3 there apes not monkeys man! ;D

  • IT'S A MADHOUSE, IT'S A MADHOUSE, IT'S A MADHOUSE!!!

  • i'm here because the rise of the planets of the apes :)

  • In this series of films the Humans died because of Nuclear bombs but in the new one the Virus kills everyone. I am confused

    Please explain

  • @Stupot80s Copyrights and back in the 60's Nuclear war seemed to be more accommodating to the time, where as a virus in today's society seems more logical. At least that's my idea of why there two or different. I could be waaaaaaaay off lol.

  • waz this real? ceral

  • @17SOVIET yea

  • In the 2001 movie, can anyone tell me why apes rule the planet after the astronaut guy goes back to the past?

  • @TheNextSimonC He doesn't....thats the future on another planet. Despite its similarities the plot is completely different than this one.

  • @TheNextSimonC Its confusing believe me....and thats why the 2001 version is not "good".

  • @TheNextSimonC cause caesar goes beck to the past aswell

  • I am NEVER going to the zoo again.

  • A world gone insane.. who is right>> some things never change..

R>I>P>Daddy U R the greatest still photographer, ever,

and sorry I lost the mask you gave me..

  • ALL HAIL APES. I HATE THOSE DAMN DIRTY HUMANS! LOL! IT'S TIME FOR APE REVOLUTION!!!

  • these were classics. they use to terrify me as a child. what was I thinking LOL.

  • the new one isnt anything like this

  • @gamezonic the new one takes place before this

  • @titosugr well i saw 2001 version and if you actually listen to the movie the new one makes no sence

  • @gamezonic That's because it takes place before the Humans and the Apes have the biggest war ever that destroys most of our planet. remember the ship that went up into space in the new one! that hints to part two

  • I saw Rise of the Plant of the Apes last night...great movie! It answered a lot of questions I had as a young person watching Planet of the Apes in 68!

  • I watched this yearssss before the new one, and it made me think of the 68 original :)) Not the piece of shit Burton remake

  • I saw all of these flicks, amazing protest films

  • The new one is nothing compared to these movies! The last part of planet of the apes made me cry D:

I'm guna watch all of them again lol

  • I love the music where the announcer says "Apes" and " Planet of the Apes"

  • the new one is a prolouge

  • i bet this scared the crap out of ppl that year. And i think its funny that they went to the moon the next year

  • the new one just shows how it came to be in this movie.

  • This is fucking disturbing, but in an awesome way.

  • Back in my days, we had NINE planets.

  • Heston was awesome!

  • imagine showing Rise of the Planet of the Apes in 1969. Ppl would have heart attacks with how much the graphics have improved.

  • Neat!

  • im scared.

  • haahhaha 1:46

  • @HunterFazlollahi I have. But what I was saying is that a lot of the kids these days havent "heard" of these movies and think the new one coming out is the first installment or something... I've seen comments from obviously young ppl who only recognize Dakota Fanning from the movie Twilight, just saying..... Gosh.

  • @x0ticShwty haha i understand. todays youth really should watch the classics.

  • @HunterFazlollahi i do lol and im still young. im an arnold schwazneger fan!!

    are you high?

hell it was just ten years ago that tim burton nearly damned the series

  • Comment removed

  • I love this movie! I have it on DVD. I hate the remake though. The old version is so much better.

  • @bee4clay no its not, the old one looks sooo crappy, their acting soooo bad, its just crap!!!

  • Haha, I'm sure most of you are here because of the new movie. That's why I'm here.

  • @kevincaz85 i actually was here because ive never seen this movie and, i wanted to see it. I'm 13 and i still know what a good movie is.

  • @kevincaz85 Agreed

  • @kevincaz85 yep

  • @kevincaz85 rofl such a true thing bro xDDDDDD

  • @kevincaz85 You're right, lol! Well, I knew about it tho, who doesn't. I started watching it years ago but didn't finish it. I wanna watch all of them now, they seem pretty cool.

  • I'm still waiting for the prequel "Planet of the organ-grinders"

  • @rosswoof Planet of the Amoeba

  • The dialogue in this movie encapsulated the turbulent times of the 1960's and couched in a great science fiction premise with apes as the ascendant species ruling humans, turned many of our present-day institutions inside out including, religion, racial relations, and our legal system. To this day a true classic !!!

  • Such a terrible movie =S
