I think for everyone who uses the computer a lot (and i don't mean for gaming) this could be really "handy" {get it ;) }. But because you can set any action to every single touch, it could save you a lot of time. I think this could become a really big thin with the right marketing. But i mean in the normal world more then in the gaming world.

With a keyboard you have 5 fingers, where 3 fingers can use interact with multiple keys (little finger and middle finger are out)

With that glove you have only 1 finger that can interact with multiple keys (the thumb).

The remaining 4 fingers can only touch the palm, and it isn't so confortable anyway.

i have never played dota but couldn't you just custom map hotkey anywhere on the keyboard. Weird how they advertise this on wow sites considering you can't really use edsf to move.(yes edsf far superior to wsad because you can map more hotkeys for your pinky)

Looks like someone should have learned from the Nintendo Power Glove. Yes, the technology is is better and the concept has been expanded for computer gaming, but the core idea is the same (wearing a glove).

Until a controller can be plugged into your brain (sincker) keybinds on programmable keyboards like the Nostromo will be king. Moving from point'&'click to this would be an improvement, but moving from this to keybinds on a professional gaming device like the Nostromo would be much greater.

Nostromo was actually designed for engineers using AUTOCAD. not really important just felt like saying that lol. I haven't used one before but it still doesn't seem to have enough keys for me. still way better then this crappy glove.

was wondering if thats what that white button was for. I still don't really see the point but i guess not all games give you the option to map the keys exactly how you want them. Personally i'm happy with my keyboard provided that movement keys are set to edsf.

I should be more clear. Keymaps are the core to all these "appliances". Nostromo uses "shifts" to remap the entire board with one key pressed etc etc etc. MORE than enough buttons for even the most advanced user. What a person must do is decide what appliance is best for what application. Like using a pen for photoshop etc. Is a glove best for gaming? This is a gimmick that many will probably waste their (parent's) cash on, but not enough to make it popular. Gloves have failed, so will this.

@mtnluke I can tell you, its not! I bought this. Could be less expensive, but still very good. Your hand doesn't get sweaty and it holds its state for along time. I've become a much better player in Heroes Of Newerth which i play, but WoW isn't very good to raid with, since you need to move alot with WASD (Atleast i have to do)

Not hard to do, just have 3 pads for the pointer, ring, and pinky fingers so that when they're touching the palm (and the middle finger is the only one up because of that), that sends the command to chat taunt XD

In many games (the games that people will use this for) the keys are spread all over the keyboard. In DotA you have commands spread all over your letter keys, and other commands on the numpad. In order to do those faster, The Peregrine is the best way possible.

Meh, the keys are usualy made so taht all teh skills match a certain finger position on your left hand, so its even faster than lifting your thumb and hitting a key when your fingers are already on that key with the keyboard

Having tested the Peregrine, I can say that it is faster. Not a maybe faster, but certainly faster. Especially for activating items, which are on the numpad.
