You mean the original Rayman? Rayman is one of the best platformers I've ever played. It's absolutely loaded with secrets and intelligent level design.

I *really* wouldn't recommend this port though. Those awesome secrets and levels I mentioned? RUINED. Some bosses have attacks you can't dodge, the recovery time is nonexistent, certain obstacles have been removed to make it easy, the brilliant music is shuffled around and not all there... I listed several more on a walkthrough video...

i actually downloaded this game on the playstation network for my psp.

I'm guessing Nintendo is taking the same route. But i have to admit, the psp version stays true to the original, with no emulation problems at all whatsover.

Thank goodness Ubisoft hasn't forgotten about their main mascot! I was a little worried that the Rabbids may have taken over. Well they are getting their own franchise, so I guess it was still possible for Rayman to make a comeback. Even though it's a remake of the first Rayman game for the PS1, but who cares about that! After all it is the best Rayman game ever created!
