@cultofmao Good job, you know your history. The "jumping bean logos" can be turned off in the settings menu, and you can hide the dock. And by customizable, I'm pretty sure I my Mac can be customized in pretty much every way a PC can.

I bought a pc because windows was what I was familiar with, after years of disappointment with cheaply built pc's like dell, toshiba, acer, etc. I decided I would make my next computer a mac, as all I had heard from people that used them was good things. Almost the best decision I've made, it would be the best if i had made it sooner. My blackberry was a piece of shit and since I had nothing but good to say about the purchase of my mbp, I bought an iPhone 4S. FTW
I've been using and owning Macs for years and I'm not that impressed. I'm quite fond of the user interface, because it really suits laptops, and having a Unix shell is great but, heck, I loathe iMacs. On MacBooks the limitations at least don't show as much.
Maybe I'm not as endlessly impressed like so many others is, because I never bought crap PCs.
OS X does have quite a few bugs, isn't that secure and frankly if I wanted to use OS X on a desktop PC I'd rather go hackintosh.

And I doubt you are getting a FPS rate over 24. You can put max details on any game with any GPU, except that the lower brand GPUs will pump out a low FPS.

@jeffhardy123877 Get FRAPS (No pun intended) and it will give you your FPS. Anything under 28FPS to me looks like garbage. For a shooter, your FPS should be 40.

The biggest con it has is as you say, the price.
For pc: No, not at all. There is "alot of viruses", also an old myth. All you need is a firewall, and you will be safe from more or less everything.
Unless you browse childmidgetporn.
I do agree tho, its all about what you prefer.

One of many reasons why Windows sucks: the multi-touch support for it is terrible and choppy compared to that of Mac OS. Try to have a multi-touch touchpad on a Windows laptop and it can't even compare to the experience you get out of the glass trackpad on a Macbook. There you go, a reason why Windows computers suck. @TechmanUSA Well... Backlit keyboard is pretty much nothing. You still see keyboard because of screen which lights up keyboard. I haven't noticed anything bad about display on laptops I had. My pc is protected with Antivirus. Don't be too sure about lack of them on mac. I've encountered crashes (BSOD) only when I badly overclocked my PC. What can you tell about mac's possibilities compared to Windows and prize.You actually said about less important things, especially backlit thing...

COD4 is the best COD. you can pla GTA on a mac as long as there is a port, or if you partitioned your mac to get windows(Which is what i did). To me i dont care about graphics. However, the mac is to FUCKING expensive which is what i realized shortly. but it is more durable since you do not really need an antivirus on a mac. ive downloaded windows viruses and it didnt do shit to my ma.

Also, the only people I ever really hear saying mac sucks are people who've never used one let alone owned one. I bought a pc because windows was what I was familiar with, after years of disappointment with cheaply built pc's like dell, toshiba, acer, etc. I decided I would make my next computer a mac, as all I had heard from people that used them was good things. Almost the best decision I've made, it would be the best if i had made it sooner. My blackberry was a piece of shit and since I had nothing but good to say about the purchase of my mbp, I bought an iPhone 4S. FTW

I've been using and owning Macs for years and I'm not that impressed. I'm quite fond of the user interface, because it really suits laptops, and having a Unix shell is great but, heck, I loathe iMacs. On MacBooks the limitations at least don't show as much.
Maybe I'm not as endlessly impressed like so many others is, because I never bought crap PCs.
OS X does have quite a few bugs, isn't that secure and frankly if I wanted to use OS X on a desktop PC I'd rather go hackintosh.
