  • thrash punk when i used to buy these records on vinyl :)

  • I'm playing with this band this summer.

  • where can i get songs from electro hippies?

  • not long now, till it comes to the crunch i know im right ill crucify you, and watch you burn it might be the hard way, but you'll learn what they need is welfare, free from torure free from experiments, and exploitation and you'd deny this, and i know why ill shed no tears, if i see you die is it too much to ask, to not kill and destroy animals, humans , one earth? what im really saying is, you'll get your just deserts we'll see how you like it when the tables are turned.
  • this band is so rare. i wish i could find cd's of theirs... i did find a website that sells electro hippies shirt with the play fast or die album cover printed on it

  • accused and crucified were good too, just saying

  • damn i cant find any of this band in the stores and i cant find anything to download either..

  • download?

  • this is like the first form of grindcore right?

  • right, that time bands like extreme noise terror and fear of god played like this.

  • check out boston band siege, they set the goal for grindcore in 1984

  • Yes... This bands is first form of grindcore...

siege also effect born of powerviolence as well as formation of grindcore sound..

  • Eh...It's more thrash punk/thrashcore. Grind is more metal (i.e. Napalm death/anal cunt)

  • @atal0071 technically they are crust punk but like heresy they have a huge metal influenced sound so they might as well be grind

  • @Traductus5972 i think Heresy didnt influence grind scene that much... i read an interview with mick harris somewhere and he mentions that he was influenced by Larm... as for other bands, well they were just influenced by Napalm Death... but yea, Electro Hippies and Heresy are the very first bands to play blast-beat

  • Perhaps crustgrind like Extreme Noise terror or Disrupt

  • @atal0071 An era when England were the kings of all Rock / Metal and sub genres... now we don't do anything good =C

  • @favsncrap Thats not true, you guys have Electric Wizard.

  • @XxMinatoNamikazexX True and orange goblin, just what we do isnt well known anymore, most people in england dont like real metal or punk, all underground is looked down upon . which in some respects is good

  • @favsncrap

There are a lot of stoner/doom bands from England currently... But that's it.

  • @favsncrap haha you have oasis and like the other guy said electric wizard

  • @favsncrap haha you said you dont have anything good in england, and i said you still have oasis!

  • @atal0071 you got it right brother, smash fascism.electro hippies kick ass.

  • @atal0071 yes, proto-grind.

  • @atal0071 jeff walker from carcass this is his first band

  • jeff walker from carcass was in this band before carcass

  • dude post Am i punk yet? that the best E.H. Song ever

  • holy shit, you're stupid searching bands you dont like and posting about it!

  • Missed a few keystrokes when searching for Korn?

  • knowing him it was porn. good guess though

  • I think not bad more napalm death.. this, too, great grindcore, hardcore punk..

  • am i a punk yet?

  • yes

  • @fitzwilliamcobra "no or not?"

  • what does electro have to do with punk?????good song thoe

  • sigh... if you are serious , the bands name is electro hippies, this is the kind of stuff you should listen to, not that mainsteam stuff, sure its catchy now, but it will be annoying and repetitive in a year, and you will move on with whats new... but punk will always be good... but its very underground and you have to search for it

  • i use to be in that punk scene

  • lol, well why did you say "what does electro have to do with punk" ..it threw me off... personally i cant stand any mainstream r@b, rap, or anything like that, drives me fuckin nuts! but as they say... to each their own

  • Probably one of the best extreme punk albums I've ever heard. "Next Time" has to be the best song on there.

  • lol! my youth comes flooding back! thanks

  • sweet as hell man. can ya put up am i punk yet? on there
