The first time I went to Six Flags New England my buddy talked me into going on this thing. But I wasn't paying attention and when we got on I thought we'd be taken up and then drop.

When that thing launched I nearly swallowed my nose!

@tobelavanchacw2052 I love Power Tower. The wait at the top/bottom is very nerve racking. This ride is crap because they count down to the launch. When you get launched up/dropped down the power tower you don't want to know when it is going to happen because that stops all the fun.

@tobelavanchacw2052 That's what this ride used to be, before Six Flags took over the park (it used to be called Riverside). It took you up nice and slow, you sat there for about seven seconds, and dropped. Much scarier. The way they rebuilt it made it lame, IMO.
