  • "When you look around this room, they all weigh 0 pounds." As someone who has taken university physics, and quantum mechanics....no...no they don't weigh 0 pounds.

  • Who said that an iPad was meant for content creation. It isn't supposed to replace a normal laptop or desktop. It is meant for mobile users that want something to do a lot of things without the cost or weight of a laptop.

  • Steve "used car salesman" Ballmer...what a clueless, unimaginative, rambling buffoon!

  • would go for windows any day, I can migrate my existing apps without having to join Apples rip apps itunes store.

  • ipads are a fad, the technology is new and it is an immature product, fashionable, content consumption only, it looks good but is impractical for content creation.

  • @markra not true, sorry.

  • no just buy windows 8 tablet! better than ipad

  • He who talks loudest and says nothing.

  • G-D, this video is plagued with comments from a bunch of Apple fanbois who are pissed off that who just found out there are things way more powerful than there iPad.

  • The thing that this dinosaur doesn't understand is that Windows 7 is plagued with the same inefficiencies as every other version of Windows. M$ is becoming irrelevant in the industry. The mot successful companies right now are ones that develop systems and applications that run on anything but windows.

  • What a moron. I'd expect to see this guy at a car-lot trying to sell Nissan Cherry's.

  • there is no visionary in microsoft!.

  • So Balmer is saying that they have done this ''slate/handheld'' format before and they need to make it work this time but they are not sure which format is best and oh yeah it might be faster and lighter and therefore there will be a sales boost.. And oh yeah we will combine a bunch of stuff like touch and ink and people are gonna be really happy with it. Genius.

  • They've sold 25,000,000 (25 million) iPads ... Steve Ballbag.

  • ..i just woke up...what did he say...

  • Mr. Ballmer, cheap, idiot NETBOOKs are dead. And we all know who the murderer is. iPads.

  • Didn't he laugh off the I-Phone?

  • Ballmer is a clown...

  • "as soon as they're ready" isn't really that assuring

  • Pc...pc...pc.... that's why windows 8 default entry point it's a version almost for a tablet usage imo. And he laugh went Ipad came out.

  • "Interesting Job" = "They're kicking our ass"

  • you have no idea what you re talking about mate. who the hell pays you to talk shit?

  • Everyone seems to hate Ballmer ....you wear his shoes.

  • worst CEO ever!!!

  • this guy makes no sense

  • Zzzzzzz..... So uninspiring and vague.

Just a few months ago he was laughing at the iPhone and Android. Ha!

  • So uninspiring compared to the ones Jobs does... To all the jackasses who comment on the "pen". You can buy a pen for the iPad for about $5.00.

  • @solgroupschools Not the same idea. A cheap $5.00 foam tipped stylus is not the same as the equivalent to a wacom stylus capable device that accepts handwriting input which the OS can then convert into text.

  • While it is true that iOS and Android delivered the silky smooth interface sooner, they did not invent apps or tablets or smartphone. The innovators were Psion, IBM, Nokia and Palm.

I own an iPad, and it is not nearly as useful as I hoped(and was led to believe) for anything but content consumption. I also used a win tablet with an active stylus and it is useful, if overpriced. If Win 9 converges, and MS creates a viable nirvana phone(like atrix) product, it will redefine personal computing.

  • To Microsoft, a tablet just isn't practical without pen input, simple as that. Unless Apple is smart enough to make an ipad with pen input, there will be a split market between consumer tablets and business tablets. that will last as long as until the pc processors have become so advanced that you have a full desktop OS running in tablet form, with all the pen and touch input issues sorted out, then Microsoft would dominate.

  • Microsoft is losing on most all fronts. Search, phones, tablets.......Windows, Office and XBox are the only things it has going for it......

  • 1. What we really need is a single familiar OS that runs everything, our computers, tablet, phone, music player, camera... either an Apple OS or a Microsoft OS is best positioned to do that, Google is not. Once that's in, there doesn't have to be this line between computers and other devices, it's just one big open field.

    2. A display you can't draw on with a stylus is never going to be enough for note taking,

    3. Microsoft's approach lacks the appeal of Apple's, despite being very practical.

  • Wow, balmer looks tired.

  • lazy to build a new os

  • Why I believe Windows tablets are better is because Windows tablets actually have the full operating system, whereas the ipad and other apple handhelds have a watered down version of the operating system.

  • @OddFacade A desktop OS will NEVER make a good tablet OS. If that was the case, Windows tablets would have taken off years ago.

  • @OddFacade Honestly thats what makes the iOS so good. It was built for touch and is very easy to use, where as windows was built for keyboard/mouse input.

  • @fantasypills Interestingly enough, my grandfather's ipad stopped loading his e-mail, yet continued to show the number of messages he had in his box. When I called apple about the issue, it had been three months since my grandfather had the device registered. apple (note the lower-case a there) told me that they do support for their software for only 30 days, and the rest is hardware related. The only fix they knew was to delete and re-enter the e-mail account. "Good" OS, no support.

  • and some people are gonna want devices without Windows...

  • New processors won't give you customers, since Core 2 Duo, the PC is able to satisfy 99% of users needs. USB3.0, Sandy B. BT, Wifi N, display ports, eSATA are kind of unnecessary.

  • Tablets are about Form & Function. Both of these Wintel cannot yet achieve.

Form: Your basic Wintel tablet PC is so heavy, it cannot be rested on one hand for extended periods and its battery will run out in 2.5 hrs.

Tablet based Win OS is still so clunky, it is not pleasant experience to use it for extended periods. So a double fail here ...

  • Steve Ballmer has an amazing ability to make people dumber just from listening to him spew his verbal diarrhea.

  • Everytine balmer pretends to know what he is talking about, a puppy dies.

  • Ballmer is a tech joke - let's face it

  • What a fukin idiot.

  • Microsoft is falling fast. Windows is becoming so irrelevant it's a joke.

    Linux/Android/Apple rule.

  • @codesharkc how is windows becoming irrelevant?

  • iPad is brilliant. LOL @ microsoft. Such a joke of a company.

  • Microsoft are always one step behind now. For people who defend windows should realise that google and apple compete for Market share, but their customers want to buy them. Whereas windows products have been and always will be shoved down consumers throats because they are losing the battle

  • i want an ipad BECAUSE

it just looks good, its a gimmik, i love windows 7 yes i did say that though i would prefer to use ubuntu, i just feel more at home with w7, but an ipad, it just feels so simple to use, i can just pick it up an slide and thats it, everything is there it seems perfect for a tablet, where as another tablet, say running w7 just seems small an cramped unless you have a low res, or an android OS which i dont really like using

  • Why would someone buy a ipad when you could buy a laptop and do more? and if you want touch screen alot of laptops have touch screen now ,just doesnt make sence why use or by ipads?

  • Fuck ipad..its just a stupid little computer for noobs who are too stupid to buy a laptop

  • @duckstadtfan

I heard something similar about GUI and the mouse

  • How is he still CEO?

  • @yodaisgod2 how is steve jobs still CEO after ripping off steve wozniac and the apple shareholders ??

go cry somewhere else apple fanboy

  • @Schyzofrenic87 That was years ago. I'm sure he still holds a bit of a grudge, but he's wealthy in his own right and still and Apple employee. Not sure how Jobs have ripped off shareholders considering their stock is higher than ever and they have a marketcap bigger than Microsoft..

go cry somewhere else MS fanboi

  • @Schyzofrenic87 Didn't rip off Wozniac. He's still rich. apple shareholders are happy with the stock price. Drink more haterade

  • @yodaisgod2 exactly an apple response,,money money money,,, its about respect , its about honor to the real inventors not just a turtle neck ninja.

i rather have my name upon a machine that cures cancer than a fat bank account.

wozniak helped steve jobless out when jobbs promised a machine he couldnt deliver.. wozniak did al the work jobs got al the fame,, thats why i say glad hes gone,, and i hope we never see him again,,, write him an app iVanish

  • @Schyzofrenic87 u mad bro?

  • "Make things happen" on netbooks. You mean strong arm and bribe the entire industry, so that the little guys like Linux who initially had a rare opportunity didn't stand a chance.

  • It's interesting to compare a presentation by Jobs to Balmer. For SJ, it's all about what their vision, their products. For SB, it's all about how the competition is futile in their efforts. He is on defense. Apple and google are playing offense.

  • I dont get the iPad... its a fucking joke. The keyboard cuts out half the goddamn screen it doesn't stand, you have to hold it.

  • What Steve does not realize is HE has been sleeping at the switch for all of 2000's so far. just a mere 2.5 years ago this arrogant prick was making fun of the Android saying it was just a "press release" and nothing more. Fast forward to 2010 and it is the fastest growing mobile platform in the world while Win mobile is looking more and more like a dinosaur's ass

  • @rasalghul5555 Steve Ballmers answer to Android is... not developing something better. But to sue everyone using the Android OS.

Brilliant thinking. It will bring Microsoft very far.

    Probably...

  • @rasalghul5555 Yeah Apple is TOTALLY slipping lately. oh man, they're pretty much filing for BANKRUPTCY!!!! LOL Meanwhile, Windows Phone 7 is just KICKING COMPLETE ASS!!!!

  • @rasalghul5555 The only reason that Android has gotten more marketshare than iPhone is because there are 4 iPhones (carriers and capacity) but there are many, many Android phones from differenet manufacturers.

  • @MacOSXMason My mistake, there are 7 versions. I forget the unlocked iPhone 4s and the 3GS.

  • @MacOSXMason

So that means the development and marketing strategy of Android is superior to iOS, right?

  • @rasalghul5555 That would be true if Apple was a software company. If the only goal apple has is to get as much IOS out there, then they would open up the platform and sell IOS. But Apple is a hardware company and they want to sell those phones. In the hardware vendor list you'll see Apple trumping the lot when listing units sold of tablets, phones or mp3 players. In that very real sense, Apple's strategy is fine for Apple, it is what it has always been.

  • @Voxnulla

You are speaking in very parsed terms which is usually a sign that there is some back pedaling and one has to cover their left eye and squint very hard with the right to see your point the way you do.

I am not disputing that what Apple has been doing is consistent with what Apple thinks is fine for Apple.

  • @rasalghul5555 You are not serious. What part of hardware company did you find vague ? Is there any hint of a "parsed term" in that at all ? That covering eyes and squinting is what probably what led to your making that conclusion. That and fierce unsubstantiated bias, probably.

AAPL == hardware seller, Sells hardware (like Nokia, HTC, Samsung, SonyE). GGL == Software seller, Sell to the likes of Samsung and HTC who sell the hardware.

It is not that difficult to understand who does what.

  • @Voxnulla

Apple is hardware AND software. In fact, in the talk a few years ago - the one where Jobs is on stage with Bill Gates - Steve mentions that he sees Apple as a Software company - they just happen to put it in a beautiful box.

Your view that Apple is exclusively a hardware company begs the question - WHAT and WHERE does the software that runs on Apple products come from?

  • @rasalghul5555 The word "exclusively" is how your read the comment. The correct word would be "primarily", which would be true. Apart from a small number of apps (itunes), all software is integrally linked to it's hardware. It is a strategy to sell the hardware. No sane person would argue against that (I used to think). If Apple would really like to sell more OSX then mac's, they'd not restrict it to mac's. In the end, they primarily sell phones and computers. The OS is a feature.

  • @Voxnulla

happy to see you continue to backpedal - I guess it is a sign that you see how wrong you were to begin with.

Again - I still do not understand why you even parse words further and make this retarded "primarily" vs "exclusively" argument. For each piece of hardware -they are also selling their software that runs that hardware. It is as equal split as you can get. How can apple sell 10 mac books but one iOS? For Apple software and hardware are inseparable - not just a feature LOL

  • @rasalghul5555 I'm not paddling anywhere. I just do the polite thing when people are to stupid and/or bias to be able to read in context. Namely added previously omitted nuances. Not for my sake, but for yours and to prefect arguments turning into either semantic bitchfights. This of course is a rather futile exercise if directed at individuals completely incapable or unwilling of paying attention and following coherent reasoning.

The rest of you comment makes no sense.

  • @rasalghul5555 If Apple is a software company, by that definition, Sony, Samsung and Philips all are software companies. Every business building a product with a fucking FPGA is a software company.

Microsoft probably is a hardware company and MacDonald's makes real food !.

AND GOOGLE IS AN ADVERTISING COMPANY !!!!

You utter black and white is the world perceiving idiot ! Are you a troll or what ?

  • @Voxnulla

Easy there chuckles - take a deep breath and just accept you were misinformed until I came along.

I am only quoting Steve Jobs - he was the one that stated Apple is a software company - then just happen to put it into beautiful boxes that delight the user experience.

BTW - it is funny you accusing me of being a troll - what is YOUR motivation in being so emphatic that Apple does not develop software?

  • @rasalghul5555 Arg, You could argue that pigs frequently fly by obfuscating the definitions of pig and pilot, making them overlap. You deliberately skew and misinterpret every fucking sentence. You quote mine the Jobs quote and happily put on the stupid face reading the precise opposite in any comment you disagree with. Where the fuck did I state Apple doesn't develop software? All "Sebating" tactics often associated to trolls or people who are a bit of a cunt. A game you play often I saw.

  • @Voxnulla

wow - I recommend you sit down and be introspective about the source of your obvious anger.

I don't think we are talking about computers and electronics anymore - we see a glimpse of some anger and frustration on your side that spews personal insults and accusations rather then defend POV with facts.

BTW - if you wish to continue thinking Apple does not see software as a MAJOR ingredient to their DNA - you are free to do so - just don't blow a gasket while believing in false facts

  • @rasalghul5555 I recommend you keep your useless advice to yourself. You are a troll, plain and simple. Have a very interesting life, and please do continue to believe that the sun shines out of your ass. Fucking twat.

  • @Voxnulla

So once again you resort to name calling because I happen to think Apple consider software to be an important part of their business and products. If that makes me a twat I guess all the heads at apple are twats as well.

Do you get your information from 1993 tech news articles?

  • Comment removed

  • @BarryDong Hello everyone. This was the comment that Barrydong posted before removing it like the coward that he is. "Oh will you please shut up. Everyone is fed up with reading your petty arguments.".

Nice chap huh !. speaking for all of you, no arguments, just petty insults. Splendid.

  • @Voxnulla Well, that was incredible! I imagined, that by posting my deleted comment, you were going to come out with something groundbreaking and damning! But no ... you just posted something completely nonsensical and pathetic. Brilliant!

  • @BarryDong It really rather simple if you get an adult to spell it out for you. It shows what a little rat bastards you are in plain and simple terms. It never though you stupid enough to actually give it a follow up, but here we are.

  • @rasalghul5555 Speaking about motivations. Why are you hell bend on labeling a company such, where by it's category I looks the most inept and unsuccessful? I advice you to argue apple's in the condom business. That would probably better suit your needs. They measure a product success in units sold. IOS devices, mac install base or Ipods. Software is an intergral part. So is the firmware for my canon SDLR. You childish hautaine sneers and pompous attitude really convince nobody.

  • @Voxnulla

Your entire premise questioning my "motivations" are wrong. I am only speaking facts. I am "motivated" by the truth and accuracy of what is actually true.

I am not like you where even though you see the fallacy of your ways - you now need to stubbornly retain your wrong position just because of your fragile ego.

Honestly, not a big deal - just admit you were wrong and move on - or just move on. You keep looking foolish saying Apple sees SOFTWARE as a bit player in their DNA

  • @rasalghul5555 I'm sure that you don't really believe that ignoring comments, reversal tactics, twisting sentences, deliberately misreading arguments and being as arrogant and loud as possible automatically defaults to being right. That leaves the two possibilities that you are genuinely stupid and incapable of a normal discussion or you just like to get on people's tits. A short glance at your intarweb behaviour suggest the latter. You have not a clue what you are talking about, nor do you care.

  • @Voxnulla

Keep this really simple - all I am saying is Software is a major, important component to apple's business and you feel software is just a small "feature" to Apple's Hardware business.

We can disagree and not resort to name calling - even if you are laughingly wrong. Do you define "normal" discussion to be the type where you always have to be right?

  • Well, you don't "get" what Ballmer was saying. He's not dismissing the iPad, he just thinks its not the all-round multipurpose device some people think it is. Microsoft's job is to build and sell software on platforms people will use for a large number of tasks, mostly business-oriented, and all the points he brought up here seem pretty sensible to me. The iPad is great, but there are a boatload of things it's useless at.

But maybe I just don't "get" the iPad.

  • @greg2kdotcom

The reason Windows tablets have been around for 10 years but have never made a fraction of the buzz that the iPad has made is because Apple knows how to self edit. Apple knows it is better NOT to make a device like the iPad try and replicate ALL the functionality of a regular computer. Apple has very good instincts on what to include and exclude.

MS on the other hand will develop a clunky paperweight that crams clunky Win7...my god - the fuckin shit will take 2 minutes to boot up

  • @rasalghul5555

Yeah but if I want a serious tablet computer I'm not buying an iPad.

So in this case Apple is marketing towards trendy leisure-users.

  • @Vebinz

right - and that is the point about these super portable, instant on tablet - there is a specific purpose for them THAT is exactly the problem with MS's strategy and that is why they failed to launch impressive tablets even though they had a 10 yr headstart.

Your argument that you want a "serious" tablet is why you will end up with a slow, bloated piece of crap dependent on a dozen stylus and a small briefcase worth of crap with a 4 hr battery life. Might as well stick with a laptop..

  • @rasalghul5555

Then what is the point of an iPad? Reading? I can do that with any e-Reader at a fraction of the cost.

Music and movies? Countless portable music and video devices, including Apple's own iPod.

Looking cool and trendy like a douchebag hipster? Okay now, I get it.

  • @Vebinz

wow - you sound like a bitter Microsoft fanboy - I guess that makes you a de facto Apple hater.

Have you been waiting a long time for a decent Windows tablet?

  • @rasalghul5555

Again no answer to my question across two damned video comment page;: what is this grand cosmic purpose of the iPad that makes it, with its lack of multitasking and input, so much better than anything else?

And how does that change the fact that iPad didn't "revolutionize" anything as tablet computers have been around for years, regardless of how much it sells?

  • @Vebinz

HA!!! you want a "cosmic" purpose for the iPad!!!! LOL

You must not have any friends and are a bitter loser virgin living in his parents basement getting bitter at all Apple users who get laid all the time.

Just go on believing that the HP tablet you are in love with is so great - BTW - where can I pick up one of those :)

  • @rasalghul5555

Ah yes, when all else fails, Mactards resort to childish insults, no surprise since you still can't tell me what iPad's purpose is.

Apparently you "sarcasm" doesn't exist in your mind.

Finally, you idiotically write: "So you are saying you would rather have separate devices for reading, movies, email, internet browsing, etc"--but not hand-written note-taking, according to your god Steve Jobs (no stylus you know). But any smart phone or lap-top can do these, as the tablet pc.

  • @Vebinz

yeah you're right - you and Steve Ballmer must be on the same wavelength - you guys are right that the iPad is something no one wants. LOL

Keep looking for that cosmic reason (and friends) and I hope you find happiness (and get laid) soon. Your bitterness is so comical!!

  • @rasalghul5555

Aaaww, poor sheep can't make a single decent point. But no worries, as long as there are livestock like you in the world, Apple's products, like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, will continue to prosper.

As for getting laid, funny coming from someone who probably spent three days in a lien waiting for the latest iPhone.

  • @Vebinz

You're the one who is searching for "cosmic" reasons when it comes to tablet purchases and you are trying to say I can't make a point? Please - you never told me where I can pick up one of those awesome HP tablets you claim which are better then the iPad. BTW, do you own one yourself? Yeah I didn't think so.

Keep telling yourself the iPad is like gaga/bieber. We don't want losers like you with one anyway. Rather be an Apple fanboy then a Microsoft apologist!!!

  • @rasalghul5555

There you go again making an ass-sheep hybrid of yourself again.

You claimed that the iPad served a consumer need that the Tablet PC didn't, one apparently above and beyond an ereader or a smartphone, but can't come up with what that is.

If I want a book reader, there's kindle, if I want an mp3/video player, there are plenty of those. And if I want a tablet computer then an iPad obviously isn't right. So what good is it then? What need is is fulfilling?

  • @Vebinz

Chill dude and go make some friends...

I am agreeing with you...I am sure me and millions and millions of people are wrong about purchasing an iPad. Now I want to go and get an awesome brown Zune

  • @Vebinz

Again - you seem to insist (like Steve Ballmer and the rest of MS idiots) that it is better to have separate devices for books, mp3, etc. This is why MS and MS fans will fail everytime

Besides we all know Microsoft will spend Billions of dollars and a few more years to eventually copy whatever Apple and Google did a few yrs prior. The Vista debacle foreshadows what the tablet future of MS will be

  • @rasalghul5555

What a moron you are. So an iPad is great because it is all those things, but a Tablet PC is crap because it is all those things plus a portable computer and has a stylus?

And Microsoft copy Apple? you mean they'll copy them and then use their time machine to go back 7 years to release the Tablet PC?

  • @Vebinz

Why so bitter? Is steve ballmer your uncle or something? If MS had a 7 yr headstart with tablets why is it they FAILIED to launch anything that anyone wants except you? HA HA!!!!

  • @rasalghul5555

"I am agreeing with you...I am sure me and millions and millions of people are wrong about purchasing an iPad." -- I question your use of the word "people"., but yes, you and the millions of sheep keep buying Jobs' poop, and don't forget the latest Lady Gaga album on your way back.

  • @Vebinz

BTW, I have an Android Phone and use both Macs and PC's depending on what I do. I don't believe in belonging to a "team" like retards like you who feel compelled to stick to a company regardless of how laughable their ideas might be on some products. You still have not answered any of my follow on questions about that HP tablet you said was so awesome. Could it be because that tablet went the way of the Kin? LMAO

  • @rasalghul5555

An Appletard accusing someone else of being a mindless follower is like a Repuiblican accusing someone else of being a racist war-mongerer, it;s beyond laughable.

Hmmm, come to think of it, I bet you're a Republican, since you argue like one: avoid answering questions by personal attacks.

But I'll try one last time: what purpose or function exactly does the iPad fulfill that hasn't by an iPod, smartphone, kindle, or the Tablet PC?

  • @Vebinz

Funny you call me an Appletard AFTER I just finish writing I use Apple, Windows and Android. Hows that commenting before thinking working for you? Maybe your poor reading and listening skills is why you have no friends and why you are so bitter.

I am still waiting for you to tell me where I can buy that awesome HP Windows tablet you keep saying is superior to the iPad. But I know you will continue to dodge this question like Steve Ballmer - your hero does.

  • @Vebinz

You still seem to be stuck on having multiple devices for different tasks - I guess that thinking is also what Ballmer subscribes to - which is why they have failed to launch a tablet near the popularity of the iPad.

You are also doing the pussy move that if you disagree with someone you attack the group you assume they are with. SURPRISE - I am not Demo or Rep you idiot. I also use Macs, PC, Web OS, etc I just use what is good and not worry about being on a "team" like you do

  • @rasalghul5555

You again? I thought you were camping outside an Apple store to buy the iPad 2?

Anyway, you make no sense: you claim an iPad is great because it's an mp3 player, ereader and video-viewer and browser all-in-one, yet when someone says they want all that plus something as simple as a stylus, you scream that's too much.

If things were reveresed, you'd be attacking Microsoft for not going all the way like Apple did.

And yes, you do argue like a Republican, whether you're one or no.

  • @Vebinz

Hey - so how is that HP tablet working for you? You know the one that you still can not tell me where I can buy one even though you swear it is better then the iPad. Talk about being Ballmer's bitch!!!

  • @rasalghul5555

    Ballmet's bitch?

And this coming from someone who would drink Steve Jobs' piss if he put an "i" in front of it.

And still haven't responded to any question, again like a Repuke.

-And no I don't own a Tablet PC, because I have no use for a tablet computer, anymore than I do for any mp3 player or smartphone, still doesn't change the fact that Microsoft came out with the earlier and better product than Apple, and that iot's only freak cultists like you who make Apple successful.

  • @Vebinz

I see you are still avoiding the question where I can buy that awesome HP Windows tablet you so highly recommended.

Face it - you are a bitter hater that can not stand ppl who get laid and own an iPad. We get it

  • @rasalghul5555

Sorry, but getting laid and owning an iPad are mutually exclusive statements.

Unless you're getting "laid" with an iPad, you freak.

  • @Vebinz

yeah you're right - unlike the Bill Gates/Ballmer look alike freaks like you.

enjoy a life of masturbating to your own tears loser!

  • @rasalghul5555

Well, considering that Ballmer and Gates look nothing alike, you're either blind or a moron who can even make a proper insult.

Now go drink youre iPiss, little monkey.

  • @Vebinz

written like a true nerd - have to take everything LITERALLY and do not even get the gist of when ppl are insulting you. Go wipe up your semen and tears from your keyboard, loser!

  • @rasalghul5555

Wait, you were trying to be clever?

    Ha ha ha ha ha!

    Ah wel...

But who says you are "ppl"? I thought we agreed you were sheep?

  • @Vebinz

is that all you got loser? I can tell you have no friends!

  • @rasalghul5555

Now now, don't want any of your fellow sheep in that iPad2 line to see you get angry.

  • @Vebinz

time to move on to new comeback...you have worn that one for the last dozen or so comments...

I see you still have avoided telling me where I can buy that awesome HP tablet you thought was so much better then the iPad...I wondre why that is :)

BTW, can you tell me the top 3 INNOVATIONS ballmer has led during his time at MS? This should be fun

    LMAO!!

  • @rasalghul5555

    Talk about worn and tired.

WHat difference does it make? Which came first and tried to give more options?

Now, which came years later and deliberately screwed its own sheep fanboys by not even including multitasking so that they'd go out and buy the newer model next year, and then the iPad3 the following and on and on?

Tell me, do you have all four iPhones, and all the iPods released, like a good little Apple sheep?

  • @Vebinz

How's that not listening going for you - I hate the iphones - own Android.

Again unlike you I do not need "teams" i just decide what I like and get.

You on the other hand are Ballmers little cum boy

  • @rasalghul5555

Please, you have an Apple logo tattooed on your fat ass. Everything you've written has shown you to be a brainless twit who argued for his life.

In other words, precisely the type of person who joins the Apple cult.

  • @Vebinz

Wow - no wonder you have no friends - you make such an effort to manufacture what other people feel and think - precisely so you can despise them. I have told you countless times I use Apple products, Windows, and Android but you insist I am just an Apple fan so you can keep the hatin' going strong.

Were you dumped by a chick that used a Mac?

  • @rasalghul5555

I'll tell you why you're an Apple fanboy, it's because you can't even bring yourself to admit that Apple didn't invent or revolutionize the tablet computer, and that it's product isn't a God-send.

You're a fanboy because you seem to think that Apple giving you a tablet to play media, browse the web, and read an e-book is great; but Microsoft giving you all of these plus a stylus is Microsoft "not getting it".

You're a fanboy because you can't even say what use is an iPad

  • @Vebinz

It is obvious you are making things up because I never said the iPad was God send and I never said I like the iPad only because it does not use a stylus. You are one of those loner people who can never figure out why ppl hate him - or worse - are oblivious to the fact ppl hate him.

    Apple - tablet success

MS = Tablet failure, especially if you consider their 10 yr headstart. Just get over it

  • @rasalghul5555

    Repeating yourself now?

Fine, let's try this again: iPad selling alot =/= indication of quality, thus my old Lady gaga analogy.

Microsoft did the tablet thing first, and that they didn't succeed as Apple is irrelevant. Little Richard never succeeded as Elvis, but who was the pioneer and who copied whome?

Now another proof that you're a fanboy: what exactly did Ballmer say int shi video that was wrong?

  • @Vebinz

I already dispatched your logic that all being popular means bad since many times it does not...you still seem to have a Gaga fetich...I wonder why :)

You keep bring up the point that MS made the first tablet - which I agree with and which makes it worse for MS because even after 10 years they can not still make a tablet ppl want.

You sound like a bitter loner who blames attributes in others - especially popularity, as a sin - just because it is something you do not possess.

  • @rasalghul5555

I keep brining up Lady gaga because you keep insisting that more popular means better, thus your repeated point that the iPad sold more than the Microsoft ones.

You can't accept that Apple succeeds because of a loyal following of morons and clever marketing, not product superiority. Or are you going to say that Apple's iPhone s the best smartphone and the iPod the best mp3 player around, and that all those millions who bought them did so after an irational comparative thought

  • @Vebinz

Another fail at your reading skills and ability to interact with people. Why would I think the iPhone is the best phone when I already told you I have an Android? Stop trying to form me into someone you detest just so you can argue with me. Apply that to your real life as well and maybe one day you will finally lose your virginity.

  • @rasalghul5555

    More sheep-denial.

You can't argue or answer anything, yet continue to claim Apple found some magical formula that Microsoft hasn't.

You can't say what the iPad is really for, nor how Ballmer i this video is wrong.

All you could do is deny what you are, call others geeks even as you stand in a long line for the latest Apple iShit, and accuse others of being blind followers when you can't even properly defend your own precious Apple.

  • @Vebinz

Talk about denial - you still support Ballmer's "vision" of what consumers want and you still think the iPad is not successful. What a loser! Do you hate yourself as much as you make other hate you?

  • @rasalghul5555

And yet you can't even state what it is that is wrong with what Ballmer said.

And I never wrote the iPad isn't successful, rather unlike you I don't think success=quality.

  • @Vebinz Apple succeed because they make products that work and make sense. They're designed in a way that people can just pick them up and use. It's not always the case that the market leader is there because it's genuinely the best, but in the case of Apple, it is. The iPod is the most popular because it's the easiest to use and has the ecosystem feeding it, so you can manage all of your media from one place, and buy it all from the same place. iPad is now the same. Complex doesn't mean better.

  • @Vebinz Microsoft failed in the tablet market because they didn't make a proper tablet. They put their desktop OS on a laptop without a keyboard and trackpad but instead had a touch screen for a stylus. This just doesn't work. The software isn't made for the input method, and even if Windows was, the software made FOR it isn't. 99% of WIndows users use it with a keyboard and mouse, which is what almost every bit of software written for it is designed for. iPad was designed from day one for touch

  • @Vebinz

Do you also own a brown Zune? LOL!!!

  • @Vebinz

So you are saying you would rather have separate devices for reading, movies, email, internet browsing, etc

No wonder Microsoft and Microsoft fans are completely clueless when it comes to making stuff ppl want

  • @Vebinz

If I wanted a "serious" tablet - I would just get a laptop.

  • @rasalghul5555

Absolutely - dumb fucks like Vebinz think like Ballmer is - which is why MS will constantly be a consumer product joke maker. Windows will take the simple concept of a tablet and find ways to tack on bloat and bullshit and find a way to fuck it up.

  • Allways loved MS
