"Michael Raisin" was, I think, 1989. Using B&W negative film reverses the values and, yes, I think it looks better that way. I'm also duplicating what the German animator Oskar Fischinger did in the 20's and 30's with his animation drawn with charcoal on paper and reversed.
Cheers for remembering me and for finding the Raisin sparks animation. Great to see the sparks without the 'distractions' from the ad itself.
They do look like fireworks! Flawless work.
I'll share this with the rest of the Team. :-) I'm also thinking of getting into stop motion animation when I have some time later this year. Just to see if I like it.
